The Principal Product Development Engineer is responsible for architecting advanced power‑conversion systems, leading technical direction, and delivering high‑performance reference designs for next‑generation voltage regulator applications.

This role provides deep technical ownership across simulation, prototyping, validation, and customer‑facing system development for cutting‑edge power‑electronics products.

Description You will report directly into the Senior Engineering Manager and be responsible for: Leading the design and architecture of complex voltage‑regulator systems based on customer and application requirements Creating advanced reference designs, simulation models, evaluation boards, and technical collateral for next‑generation power‑conversion products Defining system‑level specifications and collaborating with design engineering to align product requirements and performance goals Designing, simulating, prototyping, testing, and optimizing custom circuitry across multiple product platforms Conducting system‑level validation and bench testing while documenting engineering results and insights Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and driving technical readiness for product launches Troubleshooting, optimizing, and validating customer systems that integrate advanced power components\ Presenting solutions, prototypes, and system architectures directly to customers and key partners Profile The successful candidate will have: 8-10+ years of experience in power‑electronics design, product development, or applications engineering A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (master's degree a plus) A track record of designing or architecting advanced power‑conversion systems or power supplies Deep experience in analog design, feedback/control systems, and system‑level troubleshooting Experience writing specifications, developing models, and supporting customer design‑in activities Familiarity with VR specifications, high‑performance computing power architectures, or Tier‑1 customer environments Proficiency with modeling and design tools such as MATLAB Simulink, SPICE, Simplis, Simetrix, or Altium Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, applications, and customer teams Job Offer The candidate will receive: Competitive salary and potential for salary growth Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and vacation/sick leave Opportunities for professional development and career advancement A positive work environment that values collaboration and innovation Work-life balance and flexible scheduling options Access to cutting-edge technologies and resources Engaging and challenging projects that foster skill development Supportive and inclusive company culture Networking opportunities within the industry Potential for performance-based bonuses or incentives.
