We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager, CMC Product Management to join our team in the mission to restore vision to patients. This role will report to the Director, CMC Product Management and will be responsible for managing day-to-day CMC product activities across early and late phase development.

The Manager will work closely with internal CMC teams, Quality, Regulatory and external CDMOs to ensure timely execution of manufacturing plans, regulatory deliverables and product lifecycle activities. The position requires hands on process and/or analytical development and GMP AAV manufacturing and/or testing experience with the ability to be a team player both internally as well as with our external partners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support execution of RayTx’s CMC product lifecycle activities across development stages, including process development, tech transfer, manufacturing and regulatory submissions.
• Manage assigned CMC product activities to ensure alignment with program timelines, milestones, and development goals.
• Track CMC deliverables, timelines and communicates progress to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with CMC Analytical and MSAT teams on tracking and trending initiatives and data management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum bachelor's degree in relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
• 8+ years relevant biotech experience.
• Hands on experience in GMP AAV gene therapy manufacturing preferred.

Compensation Range and Benefits:

Compensation

You will manage procurement activities spanning rapid prototype component sourcing to multi-million-dollar supply agreements with OEM partners. • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement roles within hardware or manufacturing environments
• Proven ability to operate both tactically and strategically—comfortable managing immediate procurement needs while building long-term sourcing plans
• Demonstrated success managing complex supplier bases across varied component categories and price points
• Experience with cost tracking, BOM maintenance, and supplier negotiations for electromechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials; comfortable engaging directly with engineers to clarify requirements
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills in fast-paced, early-stage environments

Preferred:

• Experience evaluating, selecting, and onboarding contract manufacturers for electromechanical or energy systems
• Background in energy storage, electric vehicles, heavy equipment, or other electrified hardware systems
• Experience scaling manufacturing operations from prototype to low-volume and high-volume production
• Understanding of contract manufacturing models, quality systems (ISO, AS9100, etc.), and supplier qualification processes
• Familiarity with tariff impacts, regional sourcing strategies, and cost-reduction methodologies
• Experience with ERP or PLM systems for BOM and procurement management

Your work will enable engineering and manufacturing teams to move quickly and confidently—turning design intent into reliable, cost-effective hardware. • Oversee daily operations, inspections, and maintenance for both commercial buildings
• Partner with engineering, security, janitorial, parking, and landscaping vendors
• Monitor preventative maintenance schedules and tenant work orders (Angus or similar)
• Manage parking operations and identify revenue optimization opportunities
  

• Own all property-level financials (no on-site accounting support)
• Prepare and analyze budgets, monthly variance reports, accruals, and expense tracking
• Manage CAM estimates, reconciliations, and recoveries
• Review payables, receivables, aging reports, and tenant billbacks
• Monitor expenses against budgets and contracts; prepare AFE requests
  

• Maintain accurate lease abstracts, CAM abstracts, stacking plans, and options in Yardi
• Support lease renewals, rent adjustments, operating expense reconciliations, and LOC tracking

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-directed
• Comfortable working fully onsite in a professional office environment
• Commercial property management experience required; residential backgrounds will not align

Our San Francisco team spends most of its time working on large, complicated projects where no two days look the same. The scale of the work means everyone on the project team matters, including the Assistant Project Manager.

In our group this role is not treated like a back-office position. You are in the middle of the action, working directly with Project Managers, Superintendents, design teams, and trade partners.
