Summary: The main function of the engineering aide is to support engineering projects by adapting and applying engineering techniques, conducting tests and inspections, and preparing reports and calculations.

Job Responsibilities:

- Determine engineering requirements by conducting inspections and analytical tests, analyzing and synthesizing data, maintaining control charts, determining root causes, and preparing bid specifications.

- The Engineering Aide is critical support staff for the engineers. Provides validation test support, hands on fabrication capabilities, setup / execution of functional tests, field return issue investigation, data entry and other tasks that help overall team efficiency and critical data to make decisions.

The Global Cloud Engineering Leader will be responsible for the overall technical direction for Cloud hosting and automation tools for the company. This role will lead onshore and offshore cloud build and automation resources who are responsible for having a deep understanding of our business strategy, and the creation of a technical capability that enables and accelerates business goals through rapid deployment and scalability of new features and functionalities.

MAJOR PURPOSE:

Working in the Accelerated Design Verification (ADV) group to provide project support performing test setup, monitoring, inspection, and reporting using procedures and criteria set forth in the test plan. This is a 3rd shift position. (10p-6:30a).

MAJOR DUTIES:

Assembly of test rigs based on layout drawings and setup instructions. This includes:

Mechanical assembly using hand tools and battery/air impact wrenches

Use of overhead cranes

This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, driving quality improvements, and solving complex manufacturing challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement and quality-focused projects across manufacturing operations
• Apply statistical analysis to evaluate production data and drive process improvements
• Partner with internal teams and customers to resolve quality concerns, complaints, and non-conformances
• Drive corrective actions from root cause through implementation and validation
• Support inspection and quality teams with investigations and material disposition
• Conduct internal, customer, and supplier audits as needed
• Utilize tools such as SPC, gage R&R, process capability, regression, and ANOVA to improve manufacturing performance
• Facilitate structured problem-solving using 5-Why, fishbone diagrams, and other methodologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 5–8+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality environment
• Experience working with quality standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 13485, and/or AS9100
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and QMS processes
• Proven experience with corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Proficiency with statistical analysis tools and data-driven decision making
• Experience conducting internal QMS audits
• Background in automotive, aerospace, or medical manufacturing preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external customers
