Manufacturing Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, enhance, and innovate equipment solutions to address complex customer challenges.
• Resolve mechanical and system control issues, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Support sales and leadership with equipment quotes, contractor evaluations, and cost‑saving initiatives
• Maintain strong client communication for satisfaction and travel to vendors to assess new equipment solutions
• Provide staffing and oversight for new and existing production applications, including project closeouts

Qualifications

• Requires an advance technical degree plus a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience or Master’s degree.
• Requires comprehensive expertise in electrical engineering and system controls
• Requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and system dynamics
• Requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business information, journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to write reports and findings and present to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong project management skills. · Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, area, and volume.
• PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) along with Google Suite, Microsoft
• Outlook, and AutoCAD.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
