In our petrochemical facility we produce synthetic rubber from monomer feedstocks and catalysts, through a polymerization reaction.
The product, after other operations, is carefully weighed and pressed into uniform bales before shipping to the next Michelin factory for tire production.
Our facility supplies various rubber products that go into tires in the USA, Canada, and in Michelin factories around the world. Our site is one of the three Michelin petrochemical sites producing synthetic rubber for cars, vans, trucks, two-wheelers, aircraft, agricultural tractors, and mining equipment.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
Support the Energy and Water Saving (EWS) Project. This role will contribute to sustainability initiatives by assisting in data analysis, project coordination, and technical research aimed at improving energy and water efficiency across operations.
Gain hands-on experience in sustainability and resource efficiency projects.
Exposure to industrial systems and operational improvement strategies.
Mentorship from experienced professionals in engineering and project management.
Data Collection & Analysis
Collect and analyze energy and water usage data from various systems and facilities.
Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for conservation.
Assist in developing visual reports and dashboards to communicate findings.
Project Coordination
Support the implementation of energy and water saving initiatives, including audits and retrofits.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely execution of project tasks.
Track project milestones and prepare regular status updates.
Technical Research
Conduct research on emerging technologies and best practices in energy and water conservation.
Benchmark current performance against industry standards and provide recommendations.
Documentation & Reporting

THE OPPORTUNITY:
This Engineer will be responsible for completing the automation portion of capital projects in support of the Plant Capital execution as well as Plant technical support, enabling the plant to meet its Market, Safety, Productivity, and Quality goals. They will assist management with pre-studies of deployment and development projects in the EE / Automation field. They will also complete design studies, follow procurement and fabrication of equipment and lead the installation, commissioning and startup of the equipment in an industrial plant environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Provide detailed electrical design and automation programming for assigned projects.
Provide estimates and technical schedules for all phases of process equipment addition, replacement or upgrade.
Provide backup support and training to plant maintenance teams on new automation systems that they implement.
Collaborate with internal company support groups to accomplish objectives and provide contract engineering management and direction when needed.
Participate in assigned major capital projects and/or modifications from start to finish, including equipment reception, commissioning, and acceptance.
For customer projects, manages the design studies for industrial electrical equipment, and low/high voltage electrical installations that are necessary for the success of the Plant's capital projects. She / he will ensure adherence to the customer's specifications, local regulations, compliance of performance, and costs.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Bachelors in Electra-mechanical, Computer, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience in the field
Preferred minimum of at least 3 years of Engineering experience
Minimal travel, 5-10% maximum (vendor machine acceptance, support of local facility)
Experience with electrical design standards and able to complete controls systems designs using standard CAD design tools
Experience with PLC programming standards & programming software, including GRAFCET, Ladder Logic, and Structured Text. Specific experience with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and Siemens is a plus.
Experience with Variable Frequency drives and Motion Control technologies. Specific experience with Rockwell, Siemens and Control Techniques is a plus.
Experience with HMI configuration, programming and communication. Specific experience with Rockwell is a plus.
Experience with controls systems network interfaces and various protocols for communications between devices including computer system databases.
Experience in Project Team Leadership or Project Management is preferred, but not required
Vision System configuration and interface for width measurement applications and defect detection applications is preferred but not required. Specific experience with Cognex, Keyence, Adept, Bytewise, Gocator is a plus.
Robotic experience, configuration or knowledge is preferred. Specific experience with Fanuc, ABB is a plus. Experience with Vision Systems is a plus.

- Lead the qualification of process prototypes within the assigned zone on behalf of the Central Methods team.

- Maintain process mapping and performance databases for the zone and support industrial project startups.
- Develop, deploy, and share benchmarks, results, and findings through Central systems.
- Support the CAPEX Project Manager in developing industrial projects using established process design standards and methods.
- Identify needed updates to process standards, circulate approved standards, validate best practices for broader adoption, maintain expertise mapping, develop training materials, strengthen technical competencies, and ensure certification of key functions.

- B.S. degree in an engineering field; Chemical Engineering preferred

The Industrial mechanic plans, organizes, directs, and performs mechanical/electrical maintenance to maximize production while assuring product quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Follows all Safety rules and regulations for a safe work environment.
- Plans, Coordinates, and Participates in PMs.
- Establishes machine repair priorities.
- Understands and troubleshoots machinery in assigned areas of the Manufacturing process.
- Interfaces with all related functions (Ie. Production, Quality, Engineering, Support).
- Uses Lockout/Tagout procedures whenever working on equipment.
- Responsible for timely technical progression to achieve job level expectations.

Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age

- Journeyman's card relevant to the open position
- Military Background with technical training relevant to the open position
- Must pass entry level skills assessment in the craft relevant to the open position
- Must be able to pass a Company physical including a hair drug screen
Job Salary and Benefits:
- Level 1 pay $39.70 Level 2 pay after 120 days $41.27 provided you are a Journeyman in your trade. Also $1.25 adder for shift pay.
- Plus a $1500.00 sign on bonus.
- Plus A $2500.00 retention bonus after employment of 1 year.
And all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

What You Will Do- Mentor troubleshooters and maintainers in scheduled work, ensuring the application of maintenance methods and promoting the use of Bibsolv +.
- Ensure all job practices are performed in compliance with safety, environmental protection, and quality standards, maintaining traceability and documentation in BMA.
- Optimize resources used during interventions, ensuring the use of spare parts is efficient and that equipment maintains sustained energy performance.
- Avoid equipment failures and guarantee the availability of spare parts, completing repairs within an optimized timeframe.
- Collaborate with the Reliability team and RSTEC to effectively schedule planned interventions, applying Maintenance Plans.
- Improve TRS-P by analyzing and proposing improvements, ensuring the frequency and duration of maintenance activities meet quality standards.
- Support MDP processes by analyzing events from the previous day and addressing requirements from briefings.
- Control the impact of equipment evolution by analyzing potential consequences on reliability, quality, and maintenance efficiency.
- A Two-Year degree (experience will be considered in lieu of degree); a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Experience in a Union Environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities, enabling professional interaction with external partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues across all organizational tiers.
- Strong teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and process/product relationship knowledge.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and the capacity to quickly learn internal software systems.

ASRC Electrical Troubleshooter Responsibilties:
-Safely maintain plant electrical power distribution including transformers, switch gears, panels and associated wiring. Troubleshoot and repair all plant electrical systems
such as balers, robots, conveyors, etc.
-Must be able to troubleshoot and repair components such as motors, starters, PLCs, etc.
-Compliance to all safety requirements is a must, such as LOTO and PPE equipment
- Effectiveness of all interventions (prevent breakdowns, cure the default within an optimized time, solutions to deal with recurring defects / problems...)
- Efficiency of all interventions (resources used, consumption of spare parts)
- Documented interventions and quality of the encoding
- Maintenance plans carried out and compliant (transformers, protective devices, substation visits, thermographic analyzes, ...)
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Applicant must have a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
And one or more of the following:
- 2-3 years' experience in a relevant maintenance position
- Associates degree relevant to the open maintenance position
- Journeyman's card relevant to the open position
- Military Background with technical training relevant to the open position
- Must pass entry level skills assessment in the craft relevant to the open position
- Must be able to pass a Company physical including a hair drug screen
Job Salary and Benefits:
- Level 1 pay $39.70 Level 2 pay $41.27 after 120 days provided you are a
- journeyman in your trade. Also $1.25 adder for shift pay.
- Plus a $1500.00 sign on bonus.
- Plus A $2500.00 retention bonus after employment of 1 year.
