JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible to lead one or more construction projects and for the management of the overall planning, scheduling, code compliance, cost tracking, safety, and completion of these projects. The Superintendent is responsible for directing and mentoring subcontractors and other on-site field staff. The position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and team building skills.


WORK HOURS:

Weekdays 7 am to 5 pm; Saturdays 7 am- 1pm, as required.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assure the required permits and approvals from jurisdictional agencies are secured, posted, and renewed as required prior to starting work.
  • Develop, update, modify (as required) and maintain the project schedule including a master schedule, 60-day look ahead schedules for their assigned trades, and two-week look ahead schedules for their assigned trades.
  • Understand and be familiar with the date by which all materials must arrive on the job and convey that information to the project management team for preparation of the contract items lists and shop drawing schedules.
  • Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to complete each project on time.
  • Communicate with and support each subcontractor to execute their job duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project.
  • Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to meet the varying safety and compliance regulations of each job location.
  • Prepare the daily construction reports in a thorough and timely manner and maintain a written daily log of visitors, job actions performed, materials expended, and problems resolved on the job site.
  • Assure daily job progress photographs are taken in ample quantity to accurately depict the progress of the work.
  • Travel between multiple job sites and simultaneously manage work loads of individual projects
  • Understand and ensure risk controls are properly established and maintained.
  • Understand and uphold the site safety plan.
  • Understand and uphold the site logistics plan.
  • Assure the implementation and continuous maintenance of corporate safety program requirements in all of the day-to-day operations on the project.
  • Prepare and attend the weekly subcontractor meetings. Assist in maintaining the minutes of these meetings, and ensure they are recorded and distributed.
  • Prepare and manage weekly safety meetings, regular toolbox talks, and safety pre task meetings as required.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the project team for purposes of updates on the status of the field work and communication of any issues requiring the input or action of others on the project team, and for notification to the project team of issues that may be of importance or interest to them.
  • Establish and maintain a system of document control to assure work is being installed in accordance with the latest design documentation and approved shop drawings.
  • Communicate any issues requiring additional information from designers and consultants in a timely fashion to the project manager for issuance of RFI’s.
  • Assist in preparation of the monthly status report to be submitted to the lender.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires Engineering, Construction Management or related Bachelor’s degree, OR equivalent years of related experience.
  • Requires 10+ years of experience in Stick-frame Multi-Family Residential Construction. Previous Sitework and Structured Garage Construction experience is preferred.
  • Requires working knowledge of various construction disciplines, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering drawings and other documents required.
  • Requires superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essential both within the internal project team and externally with subcontractors, labor force, etc.
  • Requires the ability to work with and have knowledge of the shop drawing submittal process.
  • Requires the ability to read and comprehend building plans and specifications and able to comprehend and recognize safety standards and issues.
  • Requires the ability to determine the priority of assignments based on critical deadlines.
  • Requires the ability to resolves field-initiated questions.
  • Requires understanding of construction contracts, retention, releases.
  • Requires the ability to interact with all levels of personnel and customers.
  • Must possess strengths in verbal and written communications; ability to adapt communications/presentations and deliver clear and concise reports and analysis to senior management.
  • Requires ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured corporate environment.
  • Requires the ability to be self-motivated and work independently with minimal supervision. Also requires high degree of ethics and integrity.

Role Overview:
EPIC is seeking a highly experienced Travel Program Manager to design, lead, and continuously optimize our enterprise-wide corporate travel program. This role is responsible for end-to-end travel strategy, vendor partnerships, policy governance, and technology enablement, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and an exceptional traveler experience. Key Responsibilities:
• Own and evolve the corporate travel program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, traveler needs, and compliance requirements.
• Lead the governance and ongoing management of the company’s Travel & Entertainment (T&E) Policy, ensuring clarity, compliance, and consistent application enterprise‐wide.
• Lead strategic negotiations with airlines, hotels, ground transportation, and travel-related vendors to secure competitive pricing, value-added services, and long-term partnerships.
• Leverage AMEX Global Business Travel (GBT) and SAP Concur platforms to drive adoption, monitor compliance, analyze travel behavior, and identify optimization opportunities.
• Analyze travel spend and performance data using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and reporting tools to deliver insights, dashboards, and executive-ready summaries.
• Establish and manage vendor relationships, including contract governance, service-level agreement (SLA) monitoring, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Procurement, and business leaders to ensure travel policies support business objectives, employee experience, and risk management.
• Collaborate with the events and meetings team to support travel logistics for major conferences, annual meetings, and special events, as needed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, hotel reservations, room blocks, and transportation coordination.

The national average salary for this role is $110,000.00 to $125,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.

We are seeking a highly experienced Employment & Labor Attorney to join our firm as an Of Counsel. The ideal candidate will have at least ten (10) years of experience counseling and litigating on behalf of employers in a broad range of employment law matters. This attorney will work closely with the Department Chair.


Responsibilities

  • Advise and partner with business clients on day-to-day employment issues, including compliance, performance management, terminations, and internal investigations.
  • Defend employers in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies, in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and other employment-related claims.
  • Litigate and counsel clients on issues related to trade secrets, restrictive covenants, and employee mobility, including prosecuting and defending misappropriation and non-compete claims.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize legal risk and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Draft and review employment agreements, separation agreements, restrictive covenant provisions, and workplace policies.
  • Provide training and thought leadership on evolving employment law developments.


Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar required.
  • Admission to the New York Bar preferred; if not currently admitted, must be eligible and willing to waive in immediately.
  • Minimum of 10 years of employment and labor law experience, including significant l litigation and counseling experience representing management.
  • Proven ability to manage complex matters independently and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.

Essential Job Summary::

Our Yellow Iron Diesel Technicians/Mechanics perform inspection, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment, primarily including yellow iron machinery, diesel heavy trucks and engines.  The Level B Fleet Mechanic/Technician is a journeyman-level role responsible for independent diagnosis and repair of most mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on refuse trucks, heavy trucks/tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment. This role also mentors Level C technicians, supports road calls, and ensures high uptime and DOT compliance for the fleet.

Diagnostics & Repair

  • Independently diagnose and repair:
    • Diesel and gasoline engines (intake, fuel, cooling, aftertreatment/emissions components).
    • Drivetrain components including clutches, transmissions, differentials, PTOs, and drive lines.
    • Air and hydraulic brake systems, ABS, and suspension components.
    • Hydraulic systems on refuse equipment (packer bodies, arms, cylinders, pumps, valves, and hose routing).
    • Electrical systems including starting/charging, multiplex wiring, sensors, and lighting.

 

Preventive Maintenance & Compliance

  • Perform and sign off on DOT-compliant inspections and PMs, ensuring all safety-critical items are addressed and documented.
  • Accurately interpret and close out DVIR/eDVIR defects; communicate recurring defects to leadership for root-cause analysis.
  • Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software, service bulletins, and wiring schematics to troubleshoot complex issues.

 

Road Calls & Operational Support

  • Respond to road calls and breakdowns throughout the NYC tri-state area; perform safe temporary or permanent repairs to return vehicles to service or coordinate towing as needed.
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch, supervisors, and drivers on repair status and estimated completion times.

 

Mentorship, Training & Documentation

  • Guide and mentor Level C technicians on best practices, safety, troubleshooting, and proper repair methods.
  • Complete work orders thoroughly, capturing complaint, cause, correction, labor hours, and parts used.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for PM compliance, repeat repair reduction, and parts standardization.
Requirements and Qualifications::
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5+ years hands-on experience as a diesel, truck, or heavy equipment mechanic/technician, including diagnostics and major component replacement.
  • Valid CDL Class B (or higher) with air brake endorsement strongly preferred to perform road tests and move equipment on public roads within NY/NJ/CT.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret OEM service manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
  • Experience in refuse/solid waste, municipal, or LTL/heavy trucking fleet operating in urban environments preferred.
  • ASE certifications in Medium/Heavy Truck (T series) or Truck Equipment (E series); working toward Master status preferred.
  • Basic welding and cutting skills (MIG, stick, torch) for brackets, hangers, and minor body fabrication preferred.
  • Familiarity with computerized fleet maintenance and parts inventory systems preferred.
