Responsibilities:

We're looking for a Telecommunications Systems Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business.

This position will provide opportunities to lead portions of very large and complex projects as a telecom scope owner working in conjunction with other telecom design professionals and supporting design staff while collectively producing challenging design packages. This is done in coordination with architects and other discipline engineers / design leads all under one design team.

You will interface directly with our client counterparts to design these facilities to meet their needs. Our teams leverage AutoCAD and Revit MEP design software to create fully coordinated 3D models across all disciplines (C,S,A,M,E,P,T,I,L).

Through a mixture of full 3D BIM delivery, construction specifications and 2D sheets, you will help lead the design of everything from Outside Plant (OSP) to inter / intra-building backbone distribution systems, communication room layouts, rack elevations, wired & wireless device plans and cable schedules.

All facets of the designs and calculations will be completed in accordance with the NEC, applicable TIA and other industry standards as well as Client and/or the client specifications as applicable.

The solution of these problems may require the Manufacturing Engineer's decision alone, or could result in contacting and working with other members of the Manufacturing Engineering Department, Client Product or Design Engineers, Quality Assurance personnel, M & P Engineers, Inspectors, Production supervision, Purchasing, Production Scheduling, or client's vendors.

As part of the MCU IC Design-HP group, the successful candidate will be responsible for Design Implementation (Synthesis/STA/Timing closure) of 32-bit controllers. The role will include driving and optimizing synthesis, power optimization, static timing analysis, and logic verification using an industry leading ASIC design flow. It will require a proactive candidate with a proven record of success in cross functional and cross site team environments. The candidate is required to drive and enhance Synthesis, Static Timing and Power Optimization methodologies, for the MCU32 silicon design group.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Develop timing constraints, drive SoC timing budgets, power optimization, formal verification, timing closure and other sign-off activities.
  • Drive low power implementation and optimization methodologies using UPF/CPF
  • Work closely with digital, analog, and physical design teams to optimize for performance, power, and area.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with at least 10+ years of experience in ASIC implementation activities such as synthesis and STA.
  • Extensive experience in RTL2Netlist implementation flows
  • Strong knowledge in Cadence & Synopsys tools for synthesis, static timing analysis and other activities
  • Strong scripting skills in TCL, Perl and other programming languages
  • Synthesis and timing closure ownership for 32-bit Microcontroller designs.
  • Very good inter personal skills and able to interact well with other members in the functional teams of the business unit.
  • Good communication skills.

Role Overview:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of either CT or MRI or X-ray systems throughout the Phoenix region. Travel is primarily local with occasional regional support as required.

Key Requirements:
