About the Role
In this position, you will serve as a lead overseeing the project's full lifecycle. The scope of work is comprehensive, covering design, permitting, and construction, and will require the planning and integration of tooling and equipment specific to aircraft manufacturing. You will act as the primary link between the client, the design team, and the general contractor, ensuring vital information exchange and inspiring project teams to achieve objectives. You will apply your expertise to mitigate risk, control costs, and ensure quality in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Technical Integration
- Lead and motivate project teams (Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Consultants) to achieve project goals.
- Manage the integration of complex manufacturing processes, including planning and installing aircraft tooling and industrial equipment.
- Serve as the primary client contact, managing expectations and ensuring the project aligns with their operational needs.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with peers and external partners involved in the project.
Financial & Contract Management
- Create, maintain, and manage comprehensive project budgets.
- Assist in developing and assembling procurement documents such as RFPs, RFQs, contracts, and exhibits.
- Review and approve invoices, pay applications, and change orders.
Schedule & Documentation
- Support the development and maintenance of master project schedules, ensuring integration between base building construction and equipment installation.
- Prepare and distribute detailed weekly reports, including meeting minutes and task lists.
- Document project progress through regular site photography and field reports.
- Establish and maintain organized electronic project files.
Operations
- Undertake necessary travel to project sites, government offices, and consultant meetings within the Greensboro area.
- Proactively seek guidance (Assistant PMs) or provide mentorship (Senior PMs) to facilitate professional development.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience leading complex construction or development projects.
- Experience delivering on time and on budget across multiple 200,000 sq/ft turnkey builds in aviation, heavy industry, general manufacturing, and vehicle manufacturing.
- Technical: Demonstrated familiarity with Project Management methodologies and software, preferably Microsoft Project.
- Communication: Exhibits strong, positive energy and excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with a general contractor, engineering firm, or architecture firm.
- Strong people management and negotiation experience.

The Cost Analyst plays a key role in executing cost management strategies across the supply chain. About this Position:
The PE Procurement Unit Lead provides direct procurement support to AHM North Carolina Manufacturing Division by supervising and leading a procurement team to establish New Model cost/sourcing, to manage Mass Production cost/sourcing, and to execute business strategies with other AHM Powersports functions.
Responsibilities include:
- Distribute work as required to ensure timely completion of duties and deliverables. Lead the team to balance priorities, negotiate with suppliers, analyze cost quotations/fluctuations, judge supplier competitiveness, and realize business plan objectives.
- Evaluate maker layout proposals to ensure readiness for final approval. Lead creation and implementation of sourcing and cost reduction strategies by defining actionable steps to the team and bridging gaps with other areas of the business to drive support and execution. Escalate issues and report progress to Management as needed.
- Ensure the team is collaborating frequently to create an environment of strong communication and strive to develop smooth workflows. Promote strong internal and external relationships among suppliers and across SEDB.
- Reinforce best practices within the team. Identify and pursue opportunities to positively impact business characteristics. Apply and optimize changes through PDCA.

- BS Industrial, mechanical, process engineering or equivalent job experience

Senior Design Engineer responsible for the conceptual design and production engineering of Aircraft Flight Control Mechanical Systems. The candidate will be responsible for conceptual layout, detailed design, hands on aircraft production support, in-service design support for mechanical and electromechanical aspects of the aircraft flight control system. We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Stress Engineer with a robust background in the analysis, certification, and testing of both composite and metallic primary structures. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex engineering concepts effectively.
Key Accountabilities- Experience with stress analysis of composite primary structures (experience with metallic structures is highly desirable).
- Conduct detailed stress analysis using both classical hand calculation methods (e.g., Bruhn, Peery, Roark, ESDU) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.
- Prepare and author certification stress reports; collaborate with FAA Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs).
- Support and interpret structural testing activities.
- Clearly communicate and justify analysis methods, assumptions, and results to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering required.
- FAA DER certification (14 CFR Part 23/25) is a significant plus but not required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Expertise in Finite Element Analysis tools such as NASTRAN and FEMAP.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with 3D solid modeling using CATIA V5—ability to manipulate and extract data from models.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Visual Basic (VB), or MATLAB is a strong plus.
