Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support metal additive manufacturing systems, including LPBF printers (EOS, SLM, or similar)

Qualifications

Overview:

• Oversee projects from conception through installation while assuring that a quality product is delivered on time, in budget and with customer expectations being met.

Quality Manager – Automotive Manufacturing

Greenville, SC Area

We are conducting a search on behalf of a well-established automotive supplier in the Greenville area for a Quality Manager. This role will lead the plant quality function and play a key role in driving quality performance, strengthening systems, and partnering across departments to support operational goals.

The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of automotive quality standards along with a collaborative leadership style. This individual will lead the quality team while working closely with operations, engineering, and supply chain to ensure customer expectations are met and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented throughout the facility. This role requires a leader who is hands-on, solutions-oriented, and focused on building accountability and teamwork across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the plant quality team including quality engineers, technicians, and inspectors
• Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and customer requirements including IATF 16949 and ISO-based systems
• Oversee core quality processes including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and measurement system analysis
• Drive structured problem-solving efforts using tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and root cause analysis methodologies

• Safely set up, tear down, and prove out new and legacy jobs on:
• VTL, VBM/HBM
• 3–5 axis vertical and horizontal mills
• EDM (wire, sinker, hole pop)
• Creep feed grinders
• Large horizontal broaches
• Interpret and execute work using engineering drawings, GD&T, routings, travelers, setup sheets, and work instructions
• Indicate fixtures and parts; build, load, and change tooling
• Establish work and tool offsets using probing systems (Renishaw preferred)
• Dry run and single block new/modified CNC programs to verify safe paths
• Identify process or program issues during prove out and escalate to engineering
• Make traceable G/M code edits (feeds/speeds, offsets, cutter comp, canned cycles)

Machine Controls and Inspection

• Operate across multiple CNC controls: Fanuc, Haas, Okuma OSP, Siemens
• Hold and verify tolerances to ±0.0005"
• Perform in-process inspections using:
• Micrometers, indicators, bore gages
• Height gages, pin gages, profilometer
• Operate CMM hardware to run programs (no data analysis required)
• Operate Blue Light Scanner and HandyScan for data capture during troubleshooting

Production & Troubleshooting Support

• Support limited production runs by operating machines after setup
• Assist with machining of HRSA materials (e.g., Inconel)
• Communicate risks, issues, and deviations clearly to engineers and supervisors
• Follow established quality procedures and standards
• Maintain clean and organized work areas per 5S expectations

Equipment Care & Safety

• Perform basic machine care and preventative maintenance checks:
• Probe and tool setter verification
• Coolant concentration checks
• Chip and work area management
• Use cranes and rigging safely for large parts and fixtures

We are hiring a Director of Construction & Facilities, on behalf of our client, a family-owned real estate development firm based in Greenville, SC. The Director of Construction & Facilities will be responsible for managing the construction of new developments and tenant upfits throughout their portfolio that consists of commercial properties (office & retail) and mixed-use developments.

The Director of Construction & Facilities will:

• Oversee and manage capital improvement projects
• Work closely with Development team on all new construction projects
• Manage and supervise team including hiring, training, scheduling and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with general contractors, architects, engineers, consultants and other key partners on all development projects
• Represent the Landlord during all tenant upfit construction projects from plan review to final punch list

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management, Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in engineering, construction management, architecture or related field
• Proven experience in managing multiple commercial construction projects, capital projects and building renovations
• Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment

What you’ll do

• Develop lasting relationships with clients, architects, vendors to understand future planning as well as support continuous growth.
• Pre-Construction/Estimating/Project Start Up: schedule and lead hands off meetings, manages design/pre-construction phases of negotiated or GMP projects, generates master schedule of activities for negotiated/GMP projects
• Construction Management: Manages job start up and schedule planning through project completion, Identify and implement cost and time saving measures, schedule and lead weekly project team and client meetings, leads and participates in schedule logic reviews, weekly project team meetings, mid-project review, client meetings, and other necessary meetings required to effectively complete the project, Establish and monitor QA/QC processes with superintendent (i.e. checklists, QCL, punch lists), etc.
• Communication: Effectively work with the project team, keep open communication on status of project and advise if any issues arise on the job site to all parties such as owner, architect, project manager, crew, government agencies, inspectors, etc.
• Scheduling and Coordination: Responsible for day-to-day project operations, update and analyze the project schedule on an ongoing basis, prepare two-week look-ahead schedules based on the overall job schedule or an accelerated schedule for use by all parties involved.
• Post Construction: Champions and ensure timely closeout including Owner/Architect punch list, schedules and monitor eleven-month walk thru with client, conducts post-mortem meeting
• Maintain a good working relationship with all parties involved in the project.

• Availability to travel up to 2-3 days a month
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to read and interpret plans
• Experience with interior upfits is preferred, but not required
• Experience with Procore preferred but not required
