Job Details BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in power electronics; 8+ years of relevant industry experience required.
A PhD is considered an asset.
Deep understanding of power inverter operation and design, including both hardware and control aspects.
Strong knowledge of three-phase power systems and their application in industrial and high-power environments.
Proven expertise in debugging power electronics circuits, including failure analysis and system-level troubleshooting.
Experience with advanced PWM strategies, such as space vector modulation (SVM), sinusoidal PWM, and discontinuous PWM schemes.
Comprehensive knowledge of digital, analog, and power electronic circuit design, including testing and debugging.
Hands-on experience with power electronics laboratory equipment, such as oscilloscopes, DC/AC electronic loads, programmable power sources, and current/voltage probes.
Experience designing converters using SiC and GaN semiconductor devices, with an understanding of their switching characteristics and layout requirements.

Support new development and qualification programs with test and fixture design, writing test procedures, and providing engineering oversight for critical tests.
Provide hands-on technical support for test technicians and vendor support as well as develop strong working relationships with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Production teams.
Review and analyze test data to assess acceptability against test requirements, in-family performance against past tests, and assess any abnormalities.
Generate clear plots and charts with on test data.
Technical liaison for Program Management and customers on supporting programs as required.
Provide technical expertise to Quality on test non-conformances using RCCA methodologies and providing rework/repair recommendations to Engineering.
