Our Transmission Engineering team is looking for a Transmission Line Engineer to support our growing Transmission & Distribution practice in our Diamond Bar office. This is a hybrid position, working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home office. The successful candidate will be involved in all facets of transmission line routing and design. Specific areas of responsibility are provided below.

Job Description

• Routing and design a variety of transmission line projects with project scopes varying from new to rebuilt facilities utilizing Power Line Systems software
• Responsible for technical content and deliverables while working with multi-discipline teams under the guidance of the assigned Project Engineer or Manager
• Sag tension calculation for transmission tower loading
• Structure design and analysis and preparing loading trees
• Assist in the development of design criteria and specifications for transmission line design and procurement of materials
• Perform peer quality checks
• Should be familiar with Transmission industry codes and standards
• Assist Engineer of Record in preparing construction documents including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation and assembly drawings
• Assist Engineer of Record with complex projects and be the lead engineer for smaller projects
• Provide construction support for high voltage transmission line projects
• Participate and progress the company culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
• Act as a liaison between Kosmos Group engineering and construction teams by conducting field site visits
• Apply engineering principals and technical experience address project issues and recommend solutions
• Additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college
• An Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certificate
• Minimum 2 years of transmission line design experience
• Experience in Power Line System-based programs (i.e., PLS Suite of software including PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail, team collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for project support

• Demonstrated success in implementing improvements in production processes
• Problem solving skills including Lean Tools such as 8D, 5 Why, DMAIC A3

Summary:

The Growth Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving organic traffic growth through SEO and AI-driven discovery channels. The Final Inspector - Level III will perform visual, electrical and dimensional inspection of printed circuit board assemblies; will be responsible for performing receiving inspections of outsourced processes and final assembly inspections while recording results and preparing various quality documents. Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 6 hours per day under a microscope.

Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and/or engineering specifications to obtain information such as specified material, electrical, cosmetic requirements and workmanship instructions.

• Provide overall leadership and accountability for the planning, design, execution, and closeout of assigned construction projects, including new facility development, facility expansions, renovations, and capital improvement initiatives. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within approved budgets, and in alignment with operational and business objectives.
• Manage and coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure designs are constructible, cost‑effective, operationally efficient, and compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage front‑end project development activities, including feasibility analysis, scope definition, conceptual estimates, schedules, risk assessments, and capital approval documentation. Support capital planning efforts by contributing to business cases, ROI evaluations, and project prioritization decisions.
• Oversee permitting, entitlements, and regulatory approvals by coordinating with local, state, and federal Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs). Proactively manage zoning, code compliance, inspections, and approval milestones to mitigate schedule and regulatory risks.
• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and Estimate Final Costs (EFCs). Monitor cost trends, evaluate financial impacts, manage contingencies, and ensure strict adherence to internal financial controls and reporting requirements.
• Create, manage, and control integrated project schedules, including design, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover activities. Identify critical path items, manage contractor resources, and ensure milestone and completion date compliance.
• Support the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts, including scopes of work, unit pricing, bid alternates, procurement strategies, and operational constraints. Manage change orders in accordance with departmental guidelines, ensuring accurate scope, schedule, and budget adjustments.
• Identify, assess, and actively manage project risks across safety, cost, schedule, quality, operational continuity, and regulatory compliance. Develop mitigation strategies and escalate material risks and recommended actions to leadership in a timely manner.
• Maintain consistent and transparent communication with internal leadership, operations teams, clients, and external partners regarding project status, financial performance, risks, schedule impacts, and operational considerations. Prepare executive‑level updates and presentations to support informed decision‑making.
• Lead commissioning, startup, and project closeout activities. Ensure systems perform as designed and coordinate operational readiness, training, warranties, as‑built documentation, and structured turnover to operations with clearly defined acceptance criteria.
• Demonstrate proficiency in construction and project management software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Utilize project and contract management systems effectively for documentation, reporting, and daily operational needs.
• Perform additional duties as required to support departmental initiatives, organizational goals, and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering
• 7+ years of project and portfolio management experience in an operations and service based organization, preferably in the waste management industry
• Knowledge of project management/construction management and demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of projects more than $5M annually.
• Knowledge of project accounting, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, document management, contract management and cost forecasting.
• Expert knowledge of Process Improvement techniques and methodologies

Job Summary:

Control Air Enterprises LLC is looking to hire an organized, timely, and respectful project engineer with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or construction management to join our Anaheim office (Anaheim, CA). The project engineer must have short- and long-term processing abilities and demonstrate their ability to understand and comply with company, project, contractual requirements, and to provide clear and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in managing large & complex HVAC construction projects.
• Assist in managing subcontractor scope and performance of contractual requirements.
• Assist in tracking field installation.
• Organize, file, and track all project coordination and correspondence.
• Accurate documentation to successfully track projects, including submittals, schedules, schedule
• Of values, billings, RFI's (requests for information), requests for change orders, change orders,
• Project start-up and close-out (including timely processing of O&M's and "as-built" packages).
• Learn all software programs utilized in the day-to-day business operations of the company.

Basis of Evaluation:

• Projects consistently meet or exceed expected profit objectives.
• Effective control of deliveries to coincide with schedules and progress billing.
• Timely review, approval, and submission of RFI's, requests for change orders, and change
• orders.
• Timeliness and accuracy of submittals, project turnover and start-up packages.
• Proper documentation of all projects reflecting the flow of the project.
• Maintain and grow Control Air's customer satisfaction and reputation.

Required Characteristics:

• Must have a strong work ethic and a "can-do" problem solving attitude.
• Must be an excellent listener and communicator.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Bluebeam, Adobe editing, ACAD training is an advantage.
• Experience in mechanical contracting is desired but not necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in a Construction related profession or similar is required.
• Must present a strong, confident and professional image.
• Must be able to commute to different jobsites within the Bay Area.

Skills:

• Basic level of understating plans and specification.
• Basic understanding of construction schedules.
• Ability to interface with the clients.
• Ability to coordinate with other team members.
• HVAC/Mechanical Engineering (Preferred).

Pay range: $25 - $40 Hourly
