The Project Manager is responsible for leading, planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within scope and customer requirements. This role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages resources, and ensures alignment with organizational objectives while maintaining clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
Location
This position is based on-site at our Addison Illinois factory and requires presence in the factory five days per week to collaborate directly with production, engineering, supply chain and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Define project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with project success.
- Manage project lifecycle from order hand-off through closeout, ensuring timely execution and customer satisfaction.
- Lead cross-functional teams and facilitate effective communication among engineering, operations, sales, procurement, and external partners.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, construction management, or technical field.
- 3–7 years of project management experience preferred. Experience in managing electrical distribution equipment is desired.
- PMP, CAPM, or similar certification is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with project management tools (SEG building a custom tool now)
- Ability to lead teams and influence without direct report responsibility.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and overall proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Sheets, ERP exports, Power BI preferred).

The Role
You'll sit at the intersection of acquisitions and development — assisting with the evaluation of new opportunities and leading projects from initial underwriting and entitlement through construction and delivery.
What You'll Own:

Position Summary:
The Applications Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise, process development, and customer support related to industrial machinery. This role bridges engineering, sales, and service by demonstrating machine capabilities, optimizing cutting parameters, and ensuring customers achieve maximum value from their laser systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize laser cutting parameters for various metals and material thickness.
- Conduct machine demonstrations, trials, and proof of concept test for prospective customers.
- Troubleshoot cutting quality and process issues.
- Provide on-site and remote training to customers on machine operation, maintenance, and process optimization.
- Develop and document cutting process databases, application notes, and best practice guides.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Support installation and commissioning at customer sites as needed
- Prepare technical documentation, cutting samples, and reports for customer presentations
- Support trade shows, open houses, and industry events with live demonstration and technical expertise
- Assist in product development by relating customer and application insights to R&D
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field (Equivalent experience may be considered)
- 5+ Years of experience in laser processing, CNC machinery, or precision metal fabrication
- Hands-on experience with fiber laser products highly preferred
- Knowledge of motion controls systems, optics, and materials sciences is a plus
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
- Travel requirement is 25%

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) plays a key role in generating new business by connecting with owners and decision makers, qualifying prospects, and setting appointments for our Outside Sales team. The successful candidate will be a driving force behind our metallurgical operations, employing their expertise in Metallography, Failure Analysis, and ISO standards.
With over five years of hands-on experience, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in metallurgical engineering and a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities: As a Metallurgical Engineer, you will be responsible for: 1.
Conducting detailed metallurgical investigations and tests, including metallography, failure analysis, and heat treatment studies.
2.
Implementing and maintaining ISO standards in all metallurgical operations.
3.
Developing and optimizing metallurgical processes and procedures to improve efficiency and product quality.
4.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
5.
Providing technical support to production, quality, and sales teams.
6.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives in metallurgical processes.
7.
Conducting failure analysis investigations to determine the root cause of product failures and developing solutions to prevent recurrence.
8.
Evaluating and selecting raw materials to ensure they meet product specifications and quality standards.
9.
Maintaining comprehensive documentation of all metallurgical activities and findings.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: 1.
Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field.
Master's degree is a plus.
2.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in metallurgical engineering in the manufacturing industry.
3.
Proficient in metallography and failure analysis.
4.
Thorough knowledge of ISO standards related to metallurgical operations.
5.
Proven track record of improving metallurgical processes and product quality.
6.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues.
7.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
8.
Proficient in using metallurgical laboratory equipment and tools.
9.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
10.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
