Raytheon’s RF & Microelectronics Center is responsible for full-scope Independent Design, Verification & Validation (IV&V) solutions for microwave products, including architecture trades, design, layout, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of antenna systems and associated integrated system verification solutions. Within the RF & Microelectronics Center, the Airborne Antenna Design Department is a team of engineers responsible for electrical design and development of RF products within Raytheon. What You Will Do

Design, develop, and sustain state-of-the-art Transmit/Receive (T/R) microwave products (modules, TRIMMs, planar arrays, etc).
Implement best practice standards with regard to the planning, coordination, and implementation of microwave design and test with sound engineering process discipline and leadership.
Interface with factory, program, and customer personnel to implement design improvements.
Support factory troubleshooting, analyze product defect trends, and implement process/product improvements in alignment with factory and program production needs.
This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site and based in McKinney, TX.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior work experience.
Experience with and/or relevant coursework on transmit/receive functions covering large frequency range (MHz thru Ka-band).
Experience with data analysis using MATLAB.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

MS in Electrical Engineering is a PLUS.
RF/Microwave Design Verification Test (DVT) experience with network/spectrum analyzers and/or antenna measurement systems.
Experience using Keysight ADS and Mentor Graphics Xpedition design software.
Experience with PWB and CCA processes for hybrid designs incorporating digital, power, and RF circuitry.
Experience with engineering RF requirements development and verification.

The Advanced Radar Products Department empowers people to deliver innovative, affordable and producible products and technologies to support airborne Radar solutions throughout the full product lifecycle while remaining accountable for program execution cost, schedule, and performance. What You Will Do:

Managing component obsolescence identification and mitigation
Troubleshooting test sets down to component level to include analog and digital interfaces, etc. Includes software
Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels to include analog/digital/RF/power circuitry and interfaces.
Work in a team environment to ensure the production and sustainment timelines are maintained.
Analysis of test data of products to make sure test specifications are met.
Reading and interpreting and applying engineering drawings, including assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, and schematics.
This position requires daily on-site support and is not open to remote work possibilities

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
A minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience with electronics and electrical circuits as well as ability to isolate failures to root cause.
Experience reading & interpreting drawings and electrical schematics
Experience with lab equipment such as multimeters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers

What You Will Do

Work with various teams of engineers, assemblers, and technicians.
Perform electrical engineering functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification of electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems.
Perform analysis on production data, to determine root cause analysis of failures.
Be involved in planning and executing rework of production assemblies.
Coordinate and execute tasks in Raytheon antenna ranges, maintain and standardize range infrastructure to meet program requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have
