Grants and Funding Specialist

Description: Somerset Engineering is a full-service engineering firm with multiple locations engaged in a variety of civil, municipal, land development, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects across multiple states. The Grants and Funding Specialist supports the firm’s growth by identifying, developing, and securing funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other entities. Key Responsibilities

Grant Research & Identification

• Research federal, state, local, and private funding opportunities aligned with the firm’s engineering services and project goals.

Your experience should include...

• 8+ years of product management experience in platform, API, or payments products, with deep knowledge of payments architecture and commerce primitives.
• 2+ years of ISO 8583 financial messaging experience.
• Proven success embedding payments/commerce into enterprise ISV and middleware platforms with measurable adoption outcomes.
• Expert in headless and API-first product development, including API design tradeoffs, SDK usability, and developer enablement.

Your experience should include...
