Position Summary
- The Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) Test Technician is responsible for performing complex technical functions related to the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of printed circuit board assemblies.
- This role supports departmental output objectives by operating PCBA assembly and test equipment, conducting failure analysis, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex technical tasks related to the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of PCBAs.
- Operate Gen-Rad Test and Flying Probe Test machines.
- Troubleshoot failed PCBAs and assemblies to the component level.
- Utilize assembly prints, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and electronic test equipment including: Digital Multimeters (DMMs), Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Power Supplies, Frequency Counters, Pressure Indicators
- Perform and document failure analysis results clearly and accurately.
- Interpret electrical schematics and/or mechanical assembly prints depending on assigned focus area.
- Demonstrate understanding of electronic component functionality.
- Apply Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) testing concepts.
- Assist in developing production documentation such as work instructions and troubleshooting guides.
- Perform minor repair and maintenance of production and test equipment.
- Provide training and technical support to production operators and technicians.
- Contribute to production goals through effective repair and quality-focused work practices.
- Maintain commitment to quality, attendance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Work overtime as required to meet business demands.
Education & Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in production and/or manufacturing environment
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Experience in manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting analog and digital circuits in aircraft instruments or electronic systems

- Strong knowledge of prototype assembly drawings and blueprint reading

You will operate and support PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment, including our primary molding line (TH10). Compensation
Compensation for this role is between $50,000 to $64,700.
Starting pay is determined using various factors including but not limited to relevant full-time teaching experience, education certifications, and tenure with Uncommon Schools. Candidates without full-time Teaching experience will likely have a starting salary of $50,000.

The Downtown Committee of Syracuse is a downtown management organization whose purpose is to improve downtown's image, strengthen its economic base, increase its attractiveness, and assure that it's clean, safe, and accessible. The primary focus of the outdoor maintenance crew is to keep Downtown Syracuse clean and attractive. The maintenance crew is responsible for litter control, graffiti removal, power washing, lawn mowing, weeding, snowplowing, landscaping, and street furniture repair and maintenance.
Reports To: Environmental Maintenance Supervisor
Rate is $21/hour.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to operate small equipment, tractors/bobcat and perform small engine maintenance
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience driving a truck, van, tractor and utility vehicles to transport equipment, supplies, materials and debris. Must conform to a dress code and High School Degree is preferred. Experience in landscaping and mowing preferred.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential
Daily Reconciliations
Review transactions for DAFs and charitable entities including GS DAF GSG, to ensure the accuracy of the Charities' books and records versus custodian records. Then liaise with Trading teams to remediate any differences.
Cash Management
Perform cash controls and monitor bank accounts for potentially fraudulent activity. Review, process, and report on Charities' expenses and budgets. Receive, review, and process third-party vendor invoices in partnership with Accounts Payable.
Daily Reporting
Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports; run and analyze KRI / KPI metrics relating to team health.
Senior / Regulatory Reporting
Prepare components of regulatory reporting and tax filings for the Charities, including Form 990, Form 8282, FBAR, and other required reports. Assist in the preparation of financial statements for the Charities, including statements such as changes in net assets, net assets, and investment-related disclosures.
Process Improvement
Review existing team processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation or streamlining. Document requirements and partner with Engineering and Business Intelligence to implement operational efficiencies. Review, update, and create procedures for the Finance and Accounting area within Charitable Services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and approve pending client requests to ensure proper authorizations and supporting documentation are in place and meet policy requirements.
- Coordinate and process team specific tasks as requested by the business.
- Perform quality reviews of other team members completed work and ensure data accuracy.
- Work across multiple systems and platforms.
- Interface with teams and businesses to resolve on-going issues and answer specific policy questions.
- Provide support and work on special projects as requested.
- Apply business judgment to identify unusual or suspicious activities and escalate issues as appropriate.

Education
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
