Los Alamos National Laboratory – Los Alamos, NM

Pay: $62–$70/hr + Per Diem or Relocation Assistance

Schedule: 4x10 work schedule with potential overtime

Duration: 1-year assignment with possible extensions up to 5 years

COMPA Industries is actively seeking experienced construction leaders with nuclear or DOE experience to support critical infrastructure and facility upgrade projects at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

These roles involve overseeing construction activities within TA-55, one of the most important nuclear facilities in the United States. This is a key leadership opportunity to help manage project execution, safety, and performance in a highly regulated nuclear operations environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects valued up to $500K within LANL facilities

• Track project scope, schedule, and cost using project controls and EVMS tools

• Coordinate with craft labor, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery

• Perform constructability reviews and provide on-site construction oversight

• Identify project risks, investigate incidents, and implement corrective measures

• Maintain strict compliance with safety, environmental, and nuclear facility regulations

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in construction, engineering, or project management

Background working in nuclear, DOE, or other highly regulated environments

Proven ability to lead field teams and manage complex construction projects

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders

Additional Details

Location: TA-55 at Los Alamos National Laboratory

Work Environment: On-site construction within active nuclear facility operations

Clearance Requirement: Active DOE Q Clearance required
