Engineering & Operations Project Director - GDOT
Location: Roswell, GA

The Engineering & Operations Project Director will lead and grow the Georgia office, serving as the senior technical manager over a staff of 6 engineers and strategic leader for complex GDOT and local agency transportation projects. The ideal candidate MUST be a Georgia-licensed PE with the ability to leverage established GDOT relationships to win work, support project delivery, manage quality control , and ensure compliance with GDOT standards serving as the Engineer of Record. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Georgia-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required; additional professional certifications preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive civil/transportation engineering experience, including 5+ years leading complex transportation projects.
- Acute working knowledge of GDOT design standards, processes and government contacts.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams, managing quality control, and delivering compliant design documents.
- Proficiency with MicroStation and transportation design computations.

Job Description:
Ensure accurate, concise, and successful delivery of process technical documentation. The Senior Infrastructure Technical Writer is required for production of internal support documentation of Enterprise-class infrastructure and cloud platforms.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Research and analyze requirements for new infrastructure environment builds. Independent study of proposed data center and cloud solutions for all associated systems and hardware components.
- Create and maintain complex Visio flow diagrams that illustrate transaction traffic patterns, network connectivity, and all configurable system components.
- Work with project managers to map out documentation strategies and schedules.
- Collaborate with distributed engineers (Windows, Unix, and Cloud engineers, Network, Security, SQL DB, and Monitoring) to gather technical build information for documentation deliverables.
- Author and publish the documentation suite for each infrastructure project for two core audiences (online HTML knowledge articles for global Operations Support teams authored in ServicePoint Knowledge Management System, and infrastructure reference guides for Platform Engineering authored in MS Word).
- Host virtual documentation turnover sessions to Operations Support teams using Microsoft Teams.
- Participate as a key member of a large, centralized documentation team, taking part in peer reviews, mentoring, and exchange of best practices ideas and concepts.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Four-year college degree, preferably in Computer Science or English.
- Ten years minimum experience producing technical documentation, preferably in the systems/hardware and data center infrastructure IT areas.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure server farms, network communications protocols, firewall security, system/application monitoring, WAN/LAN configurations.
- Strong Visio diagramming skills/experience.
- Excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to build a rapport with infrastructure engineers, working closely with them to produce comprehensive documentation that describes sophisticated distributed platforms for internal support staff consumers.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be able to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines while being flexible to accommodate shifting schedules.
- Self-starter. Must be able to take projects and run with them with very little supervision. Must be analytical with a thirst for new technological knowledge. Proven track record of performing research and independent self-study as part of production of documentation deliverables.
- Experience with running/hosting Teams meetings. Position requires hosting both large Teams meeting presentation-type sessions and smaller collaborative Teams meetings.

The Drafter will create, correct, and revise shop drawings based on required changes. This position will use software to convert the designs into technical drawings.
Essential Job Functions:
- Liaise with design engineers to produce fabrication and part drawings from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images, utilizing SolidWorks/Solid Edge/AutoCAD
- Liaise with all departments in the plant to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free
- Liaise with the Engineering team to set up the Bill of Materials (BOM) and create machine routings using proper labor standards and standard company practices
- Provide translation to the Engineering material list/drawings to a proper BOM structure using the ERP software with routing operations and materials

- Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) has three main responsibilities:
- Project Manage all technical tasks during implementation and upgrades.
- Install and configure servers and the Care Logistics applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and on premise.
- Perform technical operations and oversee availability, performance, and supportability of our observability infrastructure.
The TPM acts as the project manager and liaison between Care Logistics and the customer for all technical activities. Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) from four-year college or university in an Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field; and at least eight (8) years related experience with demonstrated strength in environmental compliance, permitting and industrial operations.
Steel industry experience preferred.

The Associate Director, BU Technical Services (or Technical Services Leader (TSL)) provides strategic technical leadership to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations aligned with business unit objectives. This role is accountable for technical strategy, capital planning, and continuous improvement initiatives while integrating digital technologies to improve performance, cost, gross margin and service. The TSL partners cross-functionally to solve complex technical challenges, develop technical talent, and drive sustainable business results.
In this role, you will:
- Lead BU technical strategy, product and process innovation (including product quality and services for internal and external manufacturers), capital planning, and execution of capital projects and technical programs aligned in alignment with BU and Supply Chain strategies.
- Provide people leadership for multi‑site technical teams, including talent development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, HSE, Planning, and Commercial teams to address complex technical and business priorities and challenges.
