Welder Lead Job Summary:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to setting up work sites for hot work, hot work chits, gas free certifications and fire watch coordination. Determines material requirements for repairs. Reads and works from basic work specifications and drawings. Manages welders and fitters to accomplish the scope of work provided, meet schedule deadlines, and comply with safety requirements. Inspects welder fit up prior to welding, documents fit up on the inspection log, coordinates NDT inspections with QA, accomplish 009-06 inspections, submits Inspection deficiency reports and conditions found reports. Obtain welding qualifications to include GTAW, FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, BRAZE, and LOKRING.

Leidos is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to contribute to cutting-edge engineering efforts within our Undersea Systems Division (USD). The Effector Analog and Power Department is responsible for the development, from concept to integration, of Telemetry and Flight Termination products; power systems from all up round to the lowest level power regulation; servo electronics supporting all mechanical motion in our products and low noise mixed signal electronics that provides the analog to digital interface to our front-end sensors. Each of these products generally operate in lower power and voltage ranges less than 10kW and 1000V.

What You Will Do

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion (and related analog) circuitry. This circuitry will dominantly involve non-isolated and isolated switch mode power converters and linear converters. Main emphasis is on board-mounted power end use applications.
• Architect at the power system level.
• See circuit card and stack development through its design phases, from requirements definition through initial integration testing. Includes leading large teams and defining schedules and system level tasking for designs.
• Guide ECAD drafters and junior engineers through layout and routing activities. Define layer stackup definitions. Act as an expert regarding creepage and clearance.
• Lead large teams to success with schedule, budget, and technical execution.
• Engage in personal technical growth and facilitate technical growth in peers and junior engineers. Drive the capture of opportunities needed to mature the organization on the technical front.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of prior relevant experience
• Design, analysis, test, and/or simulation experience with linear converters, and familiarity with all the following non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost.
• Professional design, analysis, and simulation experience with at least one of the following isolated converter topologies: flyback, half-bridge, full-bridge, forward, push-pull, resonant.
• Experience with EMI Filter design, transformer or inductor design, analysis, test, and/or simulation considerations in power electronics circuits.
• Analog electronics design, including the following: FETs/BJTs, op-amp, high/low/band pass filters, clock/data termination, and comparator circuits.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering
• Understanding of switching converter control techniques and modes such as voltage mode, peak and average current modes, their advantages and disadvantages. Conceptual familiarity and experience must include stability.
• Experience leading large teams (formally or informally), and experience working with other team leads toward a larger goal.
• Exposure to managing customer relationships.
• Experience communicating and documenting technical topics at the small and large team level and experience presenting to upper levels of management.
• Experience conducting trade studies relating to power electronics architecture at the circuit card stack level.
• Experience guiding drafters through the ECAD process, including the layout and routing concerns specific to non-isolated and isolated power electronics.
• Experience Utilizing and creating electrical design specifications. Should have exposure to requirements definition early in the design cycle.
• Experience designing at the power system level to meet concerns of adjacent disciplines, such as thermal, structural, mechanical, reliability, and quality.
• Experience with Texas Instruments C-2000 family of microcontrollers, Microchip PIC controllers, VHDL, or real time operating systems.
• Experience with using CAN-bus, UART, and/or RS-422.

Job Summary

The Junior Product Manager will support the development and execution of Blue Tees Golf's hardware products and their companion software experiences. This role works closely with Product, Engineering, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to help bring new products from concept through launch.

As part of the San Diego-based Product team, this individual will assist in defining product requirements, conducting competitive and customer research, and ensuring successful cross-functional execution across the product lifecycle. Over time, they will take ownership of defined features or product areas and contribute meaningfully to roadmap decisions.

This position is ideal for someone early in their product career who is analytical, detail-oriented, passionate about golf, and eager to grow within a fast-paced consumer technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Execution

• Assist in defining product requirements and writing clear PRDs / feature specifications for new golf hardware and companion apps / firmware updates
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and golfer/user interviews to uncover unmet needs and validate product ideas
• Support creation and maintenance of product roadmaps, backlogs, and prioritization frameworks
• Work closely with engineering (hardware + firmware), industrial design, manufacturing, UX/UI, and marketing/sales teams to ensure smooth execution from concept → prototype → production → launch
• Gather and analyze user feedback, on-course testing data, return rates, reviews, and sales performance to inform iteration decisions
• Help prepare go-to-market materials, launch plans, pricing recommendations, and positioning for golf retail channels (pro shops, online, big-box sporting goods)
• Track key product metrics (adoption, NPS, repeat purchase, warranty rates, gross margin) and prepare regular progress reports/dashboards
• Participate in field testing (on golf courses, driving ranges) to experience products in real-world conditions

Research & Customer Insight

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis
• Interview golfers and collect structured customer insights
• Analyze on-course testing data, reviews, return rates, and sales performance
• Translate insights into actionable product recommendations

Metrics & Launch Support

• Track and report on key product metrics (adoption, NPS, repeat purchase, warranty rates, gross margin)
• Support go-to-market planning, pricing recommendations, and retail positioning
• Contribute to product launch readiness and post-launch analysis

Qualifications and Requirements

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Sports Management, Industrial Design, or related field
• Genuine passion for golf and understanding of golfer pain points / on-course needs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data (Excel, Google Sheets)
• Excellent written and verbal communication — able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and golfer needs for engineers
• Basic familiarity with product development processes (Agile/Scrum, hardware development cycles, stage-gate processes)
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
• Familiarity with common product management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Figma, analytics tools) is a plus.
• Exposure to hardware manufacturing and compliance considerations is a plus

Preferred

• Experience or internship in consumer electronics, sporting goods, fitness tech, outdoor gear, or hardware-adjacent industries
• Exposure to hardware development processes (BOMs, prototyping, manufacturing partners)
• Familiarity with hardware compliance considerations (FCC/CE basics)
• Experience with product management tools (Jira, Confluence, Figma, Notion, analytics platforms)
• Golf industry experience (retail, coaching, club fitting, competitive play)
