Job Summary:

- Designs and develops teaching outlines and specific training to address the client needs by incorporating methods and requirements of instructional systems such as Instructional Systems Development (ISD), Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) or Training Systems Development (TSD) process.
- Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.

This is a permanent role where you will be instrumental in driving financial accuracy and integrity.
You will be involved in a variety of financial procedures, including monthly and yearly closings, accounts payable and receivable, tax audits, and developing and maintaining our internal control systems.

Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.
Lead and coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
Analyze and report on margins by product and division.
Analyze and report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances.
Analyze capital budgeting requests.
Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision.
Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to direct and supervise.
Strong understanding of Six Sigma principles.
Proficiency in using financial software systems, such as NetSuite and SAP.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite tools.
Exceptional analytical skills and experience creating reports and presentations.
Solid experience in risk analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
Superior organizational and project management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
