A client of Insight Global in the retail/technology industry is seeking Project Managers to assist with an initiative to update, upgrade & improve their facilities across the country. This will include general building updates as well as the upgrading of manual systems in warehouses & delivery centers, to automated systems. The goal is to improve operational efficiency within the locations make processes faster, safer and more efficient. We are looking for hands on project managers with relevant backgrounds to engineering, facilities, warehouse and maintenance related work who aren't afraid to get super involved and can direct and oversee the work being done to ensure timely and accurate completion. This is a fast paced role and requires a high level of organization skills to appropriately communicate with internal and external stakeholders about project timelines, budgets and any escalations that may arise. This person will be responsible for tracking projects in relevant software and updating playbooks accordingly as tasks are completed. This person will be in the field 80-100% of the time, executing on projects and will often be working odd hours or an occasional weekend to complete the work. Travel will primarily be regionally based, but could involve travel outside of the assigned region. Projects will focus on general building upgrades and increase in complexity as trust is earned. All travel time is paid and expenses are reimbursed but will be fronted on a personal credit card. A credit card limit of $6,000 or higher is required to appropriately support the travel, but expenses can be submitted weekly for reimbursement. Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

• Lead and govern design-related CAPA activities across the R&D organization, ensuring timely, compliant, and effective resolution of complex design, verification, validation, and product performance issues.
  
• Oversee and review root cause investigations using rigorous, data-driven problem-solving methodologies, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are appropriately scoped, risk-based, sustainable, and effectively linked to design controls, risk management, and product lifecycle processes.

Position Summary:

Are you a hands-on engineer who enjoys designing, building, and supporting modern communication platforms? Do you like solving complex problems and working with teams that move quickly from idea to delivery? This role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact.

As a member of the Telephony and Contact Center Technologies team, you will design, engineer, implement, and support Securian's enterprise telephony and contact center platforms. This role is focused on delivering secure, scalable, cloud-first communication solutions using RingCentral, NiCE CXone, and Cyara.

You will work closely with Contact Center Operations, Agile delivery teams, and technology partners to continuously improve customer and associate experiences across the enterprise.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Design, engineer, implement, and support enterprise UCaaS and CCaaS platforms

• Provide daily operational support for cloud-based telephony, unified communications, SIP services, and IVR solutions

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience engineering and supporting cloud-based telephony or contact center platforms

• Strong understanding of VoIP technologies, SIP, and call routing concepts

• RingCentral and RingCentral Contact Center engineering

• NiCE inContact / CXone administration and development

• Cyara or similar modern telephony orchestration platforms

• Experience designing and supporting UCaaS and CCaaS (including IVRs and contact center workflows) solutions in large enterprise environments

• Solid knowledge of networking concepts related to real-time communications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Supporting remote contact center agents

• REST API integrations and automation

• Scripting using PowerShell or Python

• Workforce management, call recording, or speech technologies

• PSTN carrier and phone number lifecycle management

Join the JAMA team as an Intern. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 1 day a week in the office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preference is for an individual who is underrepresented in the medical writing/editing community (see American Medical Writers Association 2022 DEI survey).
• This person would train with senior manuscript editors, working with the AMA Manual of Style, reading sections and completing quizzes on style topics.
• They would observe and participate in the daily activities of JNO and specialty journal manuscript editors to get a sense of what the job is like.
• They would meet with Graphics, Production, Proofreading, and other teams with whom manuscript editors collaborate.
• Under the supervision of the Managing Editor and Assistant Deputy Managing Editor, they would edit commentaries with the eventual goal of editing a Research Letter.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. The intern should be a 3rd or 4th year student at 4-year college, majoring in English, journalism, or life sciences who is interested in pursuing a career in medical editing.

This role is a non-exempt position and the hourly rate for this position is $20. This is the highest rate we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
