- $50 per hour A bit about us: We are seeking a skilled Field Service Mechanic with strong industrial equipment experience.

This role is hands-on and requires expertise in mechanical systems, electrical/electronic troubleshooting, and welding.

You will play a key role in maintaining reliable plant operations and supporting equipment upgrades.

Why join us? $35-$50 an hour depending on Experience 3 weeks vacation 12 company holidays Medical paid for the employee Overtime and travel time (travel time 50-100 % depending on the travel) All travel expenses covered New company TOYOTA trucks Company tools and tool box provided Job Details Install, commission, and start up CNC and manual machine tools at customer facilities nationwide Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on machine tools Troubleshoot CNC controls, drives, motors, and servo systems Perform preventative maintenance and machine alignments to ensure optimal performance Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and machine manuals Interface directly with customers to explain repairs, provide technical guidance, and recommend improvements Document service activities, parts usage, and machine conditions through detailed service reports Coordinate with internal service, engineering, and parts departments to resolve issues efficiently Maintain compliance with safety standards and company policies while working on customer sites Travel extensively, including overnight stays, weekends, and emergency service calls as required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or apprenticeship preferred Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on machine tool service or maintenance experience Strong knowledge of CNC machine tools (mills, lathes, multi-axis machines) Experience with CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, Mitsubishi, or similar) Solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationwide Interested in hearing more? Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop, improve, and optimize manufacturing processes in the plant, including extrusion, injection molding, assembly, and packaging.
• Conduct process validation and verification activities to ensure consistent product quality and adherence to industry standards.
• Work with product management and product design engineers on new product design or design changes to improve manufacturability.
• Perform continuous improvement and cost reduction activities on products produced, including identification of potential design changes and/or process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize defects.
• Collaborate with tooling and equipment designers to create tooling, equipment, or fixtures (including molds, dies, and other manufacturing tools) that meet product specifications and performance requirements.
• Evaluate product and tooling designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and ease of maintenance.
• Create work instructions (set-up and operation) for new equipment and assist in training.
• Develop recommended preventive maintenance schedules for new equipment.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to monitor and ensure product consistency and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any deviations, defects, or non-conformities in the manufacturing process.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Identify potential manufacturing risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring consistent production and product quality.
• Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations to address any production-related issues.

Education and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes, including injection molding, extrusion, and related technologies.

• Familiarity with quality control methodologies and relevant standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.).
• Project Management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
