This is a full-time, on-site role at our Avon, OH facility, for the position of Production Supervisor. The Production Supervisor will manage daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity by overseeing production schedules, coordinating resources, and maintaining adherence to timelines. The role involves supervising production staff, facilitating communication across teams, promoting workplace safety, and driving process optimization. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining high-quality production standards, supporting team performance, and achieving organizational goals.


Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Supervisory Skills, with the ability to lead, train, and motivate production teams effectively.
  • Experience in Production Schedules and Production Planning to ensure operations remain on track and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Production Management practices to maintain safety, quality, delivery and cost.
  • Excellent Communication skills to coordinate with different departments and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement to enhance production processes.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean manufacturing training; Kaizen experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Gantt chart experience a plus
  • Familiarity with SAGE, warehouse systems, BOMs, and work orders
  • Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Lean or CI certification a plus

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a die maker / machinist in the manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding and ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans.

4.

Extensive knowledge of tooling processes and procedures.

5.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

8.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

9.

High school diploma or equivalent.

A degree or certification in a relevant field is a plus.
