Job Summary
We are looking for applicants with strong expertise in expression and purification of membrane proteins or other challenging protein systems. The successful candidate will contribute to research focused on structure function relationships and mechanisms of biologically important enzymes.
Responsibilities
- Express, purify, and characterize membrane proteins and other difficult-to-handle proteins.
- Design and perform biochemical assays to interrogate enzyme activity and kinetics.
- Analyze metabolites and enzyme products using mass spectrometry based approaches.
- Collaborate on project design, data interpretation, and publication preparation.
- Mentor junior trainees and participate in lab meetings and group activities.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Biophysics, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience with membrane protein expression and purification (or similarly challenging proteins).
- Knowledge and practical experience in enzymology and analysis of metabolites by mass spectrometry.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with metalloenzymes.
- Prior work with cytochrome P450 enzymes or related oxidative systems.

Position requires the ability to pass a drug/alcohol pre-screening; may require working competently with dangerous materials and in a dangerous environment, such as around or on rotating machinery, live electrical circuits, hazardous materials, high-pressure liquids and gas, and bot surfaces. In addition, it may require lifting heavy objects of up to 75 pounds, and working in confined spaces, noisy environments, and elevated locations (such as climbing extension ladder and other types of ladders; or using scaffolding) either inside or outside of a building. During adverse weather, activities may require extensive after hours work or callback. This job may require wearing a full-face respirator in accordance with Georgia Tech campus policies and procedures. This job will require some evening hours and hours during peak times, as well as being a part of an on-duty rotation.

Housing and Residence Life is passionate about the Georgia Tech residential student experience. With 97% of all first-year students choosing to live on campus, we create spaces and opportunities for Yellow Jackets to grow and connect from their first day of college through their graduate studies. Our department is a large and complex organization supporting over 8,700 on-campus residents among 49 traditional halls, suites, and apartments, some of which were constructed for the 1996 Summer Olympics. Job Summary
Perform a variety of basic, semi-skilled mechanical and building trade tasks in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment, and in performing simple construction and fabrication work within assigned facilities. This position will interact on a consistent basis with the unit supervisor and staff members.

Inspect assigned buildings, fixtures, machines, appliances, and other units; note where maintenance or repair is required.

Perform basic maintenance and repair services on appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, etc.

Perform installation of lavatory fixtures, ceilings, floor tiles, locks, glass, doors, etc.

Job Summary
Perform general and specialized landscape and grounds maintenance activities to include plantings, chemical applications and equipment maintenance. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: supervisor and coworkers. This position typically will advise and counsel: Groundskeepers I. This position will supervise: NA.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Maintain trees, shrubs, groundcovers and flower beds (planting, fertilizing, mulching, watering, pruning, etc.)
Job Duty 2 -
Transport equipment and personnel via motor vehicle to and from job sites.
Job Duty 3 -
Perform lawn maintenance to include mowing, line trimming, edging, aeration, fertilization, lime application, etc.
Job Duty 4 -
Maintain landscape and grounds; clear debris, trash, branches and leaves, remove ice, empty trash receptacles, clean storm drains and ash urns
Job Duty 5 -
Apply integrated pest management principles to maintain the Institute's lawn, trees, shrubs, groundcover, and flowers, through cultural practices and chemical use.
Job Duty 6 -
Perform routine maintenance of equipment to include pressure washers, blowers, weed eaters, etc.
Job Duty 7 -
Complete daily grounds maintenance reports.

May provide or assist in training to new employees.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Tax Credit Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of R&D tax credit engagements and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients.
About the Role The R&D Tax Credit Project Manager is responsible for managing R&D tax credit studies from initial kickoff through final delivery.
This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, oversees project timelines and deliverables, and ensures all studies are accurate, compliant, and well-documented.
This position is ideal for a professional with hands-on R&D tax credit experience who has successfully completed at least one full R&D tax credit season and understands both the technical and financial aspects of the credit.
The ability to confidently guide clients through the full lifecycle of an R&D engagement is essential.
Key Responsibilities Manage R&D tax credit engagements from kickoff through final deliverables Evaluate client operations to identify qualifying research activities and eligible expenditures Apply and clearly explain IRC Sections 41 and 174 in a practical, client-friendly manner Collaborate with engineers, attorneys, and CPAs to analyze technical narratives and financial data Develop and manage project scopes, timelines, and deliverables Serve as the primary client contact throughout the engagement lifecycle Prepare comprehensive R&D study reports and supporting documentation Ensure compliance with current tax laws, regulatory guidance, and industry best practices Participate in client meetings, presentations, and internal review processes Maintain a client-focused, non-disruptive approach while maximizing credit opportunities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, engineering, economics, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of direct R&D tax credit experience required Must have participated in and completed at least one full R&D tax credit season 2–4 years of experience in tax, consulting, or project management Strong working knowledge of IRC Section 41; familiarity with Section 174 preferred Experience identifying qualified research activities and expenses, including wages, supplies, and contract research Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools What We Offer Fully remote work environment Ownership and visibility over client engagements Collaborative team of experienced R&D tax professionals, engineers, and attorneys Exposure to complex, high-impact specialty tax projects Supportive culture focused on quality, accountability, and professional growth Important Note This role requires hands-on R&D tax credit experience through at least one full tax credit season.
