A leading Mid-Atlantic mechanical construction contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead multiple large-scale commercial HVAC and plumbing projects across the Northern Virginia / Washington DC region.

This role is designed for a hands-on leader with deep mechanical construction experience who can actively engage in field operations, make critical decisions in real time, and guide project teams through complex multi-million-dollar work.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight for multiple concurrent commercial HVAC and/or plumbing projects

• Maintain active involvement with field operations while supporting project managers and superintendents

• Establish project objectives, procedures, and performance standards aligned with company practices

• Lead staffing and coordination of key field positions in collaboration with construction leadership

• Manage relationships with owners, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors

• Monitor project safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance while implementing corrective actions when needed

• Oversee financial performance including revenue forecasts, schedules of values, and cash flow analysis

• Identify scope changes and prepare pricing for change orders

• Coordinate with internal teams including preconstruction, fabrication, safety, purchasing, and BIM departments

• Represent the company in client meetings, strategy discussions, and negotiations

• Support business development efforts with existing clients and within the regional market


Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in mechanical construction (commercial HVAC and/or plumbing)

• Experience managing multiple multi-million-dollar projects simultaneously

• Strong background working for a mechanical subcontractor (not a general contractor)

• Demonstrated ability to lead field teams and make time-sensitive decisions that keep projects moving

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent field experience

• Strong financial and operational understanding of construction project delivery

• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills

• Proficiency with construction management software platforms and Microsoft Office

• Experience with BIM coordination processes

- $160,000 per year We are Seeking a MEP Project Manager to manage various types of engineering design projects and serve as the design team lead when interfacing with customers.

You will work alongside the design team, managing scope and budgets.

The ideal candidate will have experience with renovation and new projects for US Embassies, Government Projects, Federal Agencies, DoD, SCIFS, Institutional Building, etc.

US Citizenship Required, Active Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance Preferred or Ability to Obtain.

REQUIREMENTS 10+ years of experience in managing AEC (Architectural/Engineering/Construction) related projects.

4 year Degree (Engineering, Construction, Architectural Engineering, or Related field) US Citizenship Required Ability to Obtain Security Clearance Required.

(Active Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance Preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Project.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Working knowledge of the FAR and Government contracting.

Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects and to meet established deliverables.

Proposal and budget/cost development particularly in government contracting.

Cross Discipline Training – knowledgeable multiple technical areas.

DUTIES Primary responsibility for all technical, schedule, and cost/budget responsibility for projects assigned.

Establish project teams and complete project initiation documents: Scope of Work, PSBS, Budget, and Storyboard for project.

Conducts project Kick-Off meeting with team members to ensure distribution of project information including Scope of Work, Deliverables, Schedule, Budget Hours, etc.

Coordinate with Finance & Accounting ahead of project kick-off to ensure contract is set-up correctly in Costpoint for billing and compliance purposes.

Manages and controls potential project scope changes.

Leads and manages project team through the entire project completion.

Ensures all members of project team are appropriately utilized throughout project.

Executes contractual agreements with clients in accordance with the Firms guidelines.

Responsible for appropriately mapping out project scope and appropriate staff resources to complete project.

Overall responsibility for resource planning, cost estimating, cost budgeting, and cost control of projects.

Responsible for coordinating communication and managing expectations internally and externally.

Maintains value-added communication with client with respect to status and milestones.

Keeps project status reporting system current with actions and changes that take place on assigned projects.

Takes ownership of project quality and coordinating quality control (QC) efforts in accordance with the Firms guidelines.

Through appropriate project pricing, budgeting, resource utilization and cost controls, maximize the profit margin of each project.

Conduct post-mortem review on all projects to determine client satisfaction, financial performance, staffing utilization, skill gaps, lessons learned.

About this Job: General Summary of Position
Provides comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy to inpatients with a variety of medical conditions. This includes but is not limited to performing malnutrition assessments nutrition focused physical exams diet educations and providing nutrition support recommendations. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy policies procedures and standards while adhering to MedStar's "Spirit Values.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities


Consults with and/or makes recommendations to physicians and other allied health professionals regarding patients' nutritional statuses nutrient needs or specific diet plans.Formulates nutrition assessment evaluation and follow-up plans for patients at nutrition risk as ordered by providers or according to departmental policy. Recommends and documents patient's nutrition treatment findings and plan in the patients' medical record.Participates in clinical rounds and appropriate department/service meetings and communicates appropriate information to administrative personnel in the service area.Consults in/outpatients in diet rationale for self-management.Must be flexible to cross-cover and train in all areas including Neonatal ICU and Pediatrics as needed.Provides staff relief and cross-coverage as delegated for in/outpatient services.Reviews at least one annual review of literature pertinent to area(s) of responsibility and present to peers in Journal Club.Performs at least one formal professional presentation in an area of specialty to allied health professionals or the community.Attends pertinent meetings to enhance clinical practice to growth records and documents in CDR Professional Development Plan.Maintains current CDR credentials and DC Licensure and completes yearly competencies as outlined by MGUH.Hold current membership to professional organization pertinent to the role.Participates in licensing surveys as needed.Assumes other duties and responsibilities that are appropriate to the position and area. Education
  • Bachelor's degree B.S with a major in Food & Nutrition Science from an accredited college or university and the completion of an accredited dietetic internship (RDE will be considered) required and
  • Master's degree Master's degree from an accredited college or university if completed after Jan 1 2024. required
Experience
  • 1-2 years One year of general clinical nutrition experience preferred (RDE will be considered). preferred
Licenses and Certifications
  • REG DIET - Dietitian - Registered Commission on Dietetics Registration within 90 Days required
  • Dietitian DC DOH - DIETDC DC Department of Health-Board of Dietetics and Nutrition within 90 Days required
