Systems Integration & Test (SI&T) is organized into multiple engineering disciplines responsible for the hands-on integration, verification, and validation (IV&V) process for all Raytheon products. Test environments are developed, from requirements through engineering and production, to support product test and deployment.

Multidisciplinary Integrated Systems Department (MISD) is seeking a Senior Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our team in McKinney, TX. This position will perform software and hardware integration, verification, and validation activities as a Systems Engineer.

Perform Systems Engineering activities with a focus on integration and test (SI&T) functions in support of the Multi-Function Radio Frequency System (MFRFS) product line for the Ku Band Radio Frequency System (KuRFS) tactical radar.
Conduct radar systems and software tests independently and analyze results to assess performance, functionality, and compliance.
Trace and/or correct faults in mechanical or electronic systems. Familiarity with failure reporting, analysis, corrective action and/or fault tree analysis
Travel up to 25% in support of integration and test activities, with trips up to three weeks at remote test sites required.

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
Radar system installation, integration, and/or test experience.

Government test sites.
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering / Computer Science, or System Engineering.

What You Will Do:

Provide engineering support for the fabrication and metrology of high-precision optical windows, lenses and prisms.
Develop and document robust manufacturing process plans that meet complex optical and mechanical specifications, while optimizing for cost, throughput, quality, and yield.
Interpret and verify conformance of engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and test procedures to applicable internal and external standards.

Job Description:

The Test Solutions Center (TSC) team within the Hardware Discipline Center is a multi-discipline organization that provides test solutions to support production lines for our entire missile portfolio. The software team within TSC is responsible for developing advanced windows application solutions for all Raytheon products. The Principal Software Engineer with Test Equipment position is focused on the design, development, integration, and maintenance of software as a part of on-site factory support of systems to support weapon system product development. The selected candidate will contribute to multidiscipline engineering teams. Typical work involves the development of both engineering and production equipment, environments, and systems. Develop and deliver intelligent features within a proprietary SaaS platform.
Integrate, manage, and optimize multiple LLMs and AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI style, Anthropic style, or comparable providers).

Qualifications

6+ years of engineering experience with multiple years of experience in a production environment deploying AI/ML applications or infrastructure.
Proven experience applying LLMs or similar AI models to real business or product challenges.
Strong backend engineering skills (Python and/or TypeScript preferred).
Experience with AI/ML orchestration and deployment tools (e.g., LangGraph style frameworks, Airflow like systems, Kubeflow, Ray, or workflow automation tools).
Hands on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Front end development experience in areas like React, Node.js, Web Development, front end web product design
Solid understanding of MLOps practices, including deployment, monitoring, logging, and evaluation.
Knowledge of data privacy, security, and ethical AI considerations.
Experience supporting SaaS platforms or technology driven products is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Passion for applying AI in practical, high impact ways.
