As a Sr. Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be a part of our Vehicle Design and Integration team. Responsibilities
In your role as a Sr. Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for defining avionics system architecture and completing trades regarding performance, complexity, risk, and effort. You will drive the vehicle-level design, testing, and integration of avionics hardware, including computing, sensing, actuation, communication, power, and display systems. You will work across engineering teams and will implement an electrical system design that meets system-level and certification requirements. You will be the owner of multiple components (IMUs, air data computers, batteries) and will be responsible for how they are installed in the aircraft, verified, and certified at the aircraft level.
Basic Success Criteria

Responsibilities
Lead MRP master scheduling for non-recurring engineering, formal engineering development, certification, and production projects, including conducting capacity analyses to mitigate short and long-term schedule risks, identify systemic issues, resolve shortages, and develop strategies to enable a healthy supply chain
Ensure predictable and uninterrupted supply by analyzing MRP messages, managing master data, bill of materials (BOMs), inventory replenishment strategies, and expediting deliveries with suppliers
Develop and implement strategies to drive supplier selection, qualification, commercial negotiations, contract development, and administration
Conduct comprehensive supplier analysis, including business/financial, capabilities, capacity, quality, throughput, technical capability, and risk assessments

Primary Function of the Position:
- Responsible for ensuring suppliers meet ISI requirements for quality, service, delivery, and cost. Drive suppliers to continuously improve business and manufacturing processes specifically related to wire harness and cable assembly.
- Evaluate and select suppliers within copper cables/harness industry. Guide Engineering in choosing suppliers for new products and providing DFM input to new designs. Supports both NPI and on-going production, monitors and works with suppliers to improve supplier performance. Executes detailed projects with suppliers to implement changes and improvements affecting quality, cost, capacity, risk, and sub-supplier management.
Essential Job Duties:
- Work with NPD to procure custom cables ensuring DFM to achieve quality and cost targets
- Support NPD with proto builds and track material readiness at Supplier Drive supplier root cause analysis for cable harness failures
- Mitigate risks and ensure supply continuity by evaluating capacity, lead times and quality issues
- Develop and maintain harness standards, specifications, and design guidelines.
- Work with Strategic Sourcing to evaluate new suppliers and new supplier manufacturing sites
- Complete project/ part qualification deliverables including Supplier pFMEA, Process Validations (IQ/OQ/PQ), Inspection Reports, Gage R&R, and Process Capability AnalysisWork with suppliers to execute cost reductions, capacity improvements, and risk mitigation.
- Select the right process and supplier for the part, considering long-term fit and total cost of ownership.
- Manage supplier changes including manufacturing process changes, production optimization, facility changes, new equipment qualification, and new line validations.
- Drive changes to ISI requirements as necessary by initiating and managing changes to specifications and drawings through the engineering change order process.
- Own and drive to closure supplier variances from symptom through root cause analysis to corrective action, including careful CAPA documentation.

What You Bring (Qualifications)
Experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in environmental services, facilities management, plant operations, or maintenance preferably in healthcare, senior living, or a residential community.
- 3+ years of supervisory or management experience leading diverse teams.
- Prior experience with building systems (HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, electrical/mechanical systems, automation, and life/safety equipment).

Education

As a Lead Test Pilot you will have a senior leadership role within the flight operations team at Reliable Robotics. You will provide direction to the team, and be a leading voice to help guide the development of our safety enhancing technology. You will work in a highly collaborative environment and coordinate with multiple engineering teams across the company to develop and execute flight test plans.
Responsibilities
In your role as Lead Test Pilot, your primary role will be to lead a team of highly motivated flight test pilots and engineers. You will also be responsible for developing and safely executing flight test plans in support of research and development efforts, and will fly the aircraft in both onboard and remote configurations. You will coordinate the training and scheduling of contract pilots, and help to ensure that all aspects of experimental flight operations are set up for safety and success. You will coordinate with Reliable's Part 135 airline operations to support standardization of pilot procedures across the organization. Throughout the development process, you will be instrumental in the execution of flight tests, data reviews, and proper operation of the system.
Basic Success Criteria
FAA Commercial Pilot ASEL with 1500 total flight hours, including at least 500 fixed wing and 500 turbine engine
Experience performing a secondary skillset while piloting (e.g. tactical aircraft, firefighting, cropdusting, SAR, ISR, law enforcement, etc.)
Current Second Class FAA Medical Certificate or higher
2+ years of experience in an aviation leadership role
Preferred Criteria
Graduate of an SETP recognized flight test school
Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline or equivalent industry experience
Recent Caravan or PT6A experience
Diversity of experience in multiple aircraft/ airframes
CFII or military flight instructor
Experience with automated and/or large remotely operated vehicles (UAS, spacecraft, etc)
