Manufacturing Engineering Manager (High-Volume Production)

- $110,000 – $130,000 + 10% Bonus

We’re working with a leading high-volume manufacturer who are looking to bring in a strong engineering leader to take ownership of plant performance, engineering direction, and team development.
This is a key leadership role within the plant, ideal for someone coming from a Manufacturing, Process, or Plant Engineering background, with proven leadership experience, looking to step into a broader, high-impact role.
You will be leading a team of 8–12 Engineers across Manufacturing, Process, and Controls, driving improvements across: Plant Performance, CI, Equipment Reliability, Automation and New Product Introduction.
As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Manufacturing, Process, and Controls Engineers
- Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, cost, and delivery
- Improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and plant efficiency
- Support and lead new equipment, automation, and product introductions
- Oversee capital projects, upgrades, and engineering initiatives
- Work closely with Maintenance and Operations to improve uptime and reliability
- Troubleshoot complex manufacturing and process issues
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, controls, and overall plant capability
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required)
- Background in high-volume manufacturing (Automotive, Packaging, Plastics, etc.)
- Strong experience in Manufacturing / Process Engineering
- Proven leadership experience (Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager level)
- Solid understanding of automation, controls, and electrical systems
- Experience driving continuous improvement (Lean / CI / Six Sigma)
- Strong understanding of plant operations, engineering, and maintenance interaction
- Ability to lead from the front and develop a high-performing team
- Proven background in Process/Manufacturing Engineering.
