Under supervision, the Lead Radiologic Technologist oversees technical procedures, patient care and work flow in RT area to ensure safe and effective patient care. Responsibilities
Performs all essential functions of the X-Ray Technologist. Serves as a technical resource and subject matter expert for staff, management, and physicians in Radiography. Oversees the patient schedule and workflow to maximum efficiency as established by department benchmarking. Coordinates staff coverage during unexpected high exam volumes as well as minimizing staff in times of low volumes. Performs or has input in staff scheduling and timecard edits based on the department guidelines. Participates in QA/QC programs. Directs personnel in maintaining standards set out by accrediting bodies, licensures and safety guidelines. Participates in scheduling of department's technical equipment service and/or maintenance. Develops training programs and evaluates technical skills of staff. Responsible for ensuring staff has completed new employee and annual employee competencies. Recommends to the coordinator/manager/director personnel actions for hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, performance evaluations, and disciplinary measures of staff. Participates in submitting information and imaging for accreditation following department guidelines for accreditation processing. Responsible for reporting timely updates to one up on progress. Responsibilities
Rooming patients: Collecting pertinent information regarding the patient's chief complaint, family history, social history, surgical history, and medication reconciliation upon arrival for a patient visit. Telephone Interactions: As directed, completing necessary telephone communications with patients, families, pharmacies, and/or other health care facilities. Gathering information and maintaining patient information via telephone per department specific processes and policies. Administrative tasks including, but not limited to, patient check in or check out, prior authorizations, scheduling appointments, verification of benefits, and coordination of referrals and testing. Office procedures as directed and per department specific competencies. May perform procedures such as urine catheterizations, bladder scanning, suture or staple removal, application or removal of casts at the direction of a provider, reading results of negative TB skin tests or steering patient to the care of a department nurse when TB screening appears to have indications of a positive read, and other diagnostic testing at the point of care. Provide patient with written instructions regarding procedures, medications, or follow up instructions at the direction of the provider. The Health Care Technician (HCT) NICU is responsible for the preparation and delivery of all infant feedings. Preparation techniques must adhere to all sanitary regulation and standards established by regulating agencies and the healthcare facility. Other duties include maintaining supplies and inventory for the formula room, operating all equipment needed for feeding preparation and breast milk administration, and adhering to unit specific quality assurance standards for breast milk.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $18.39per hour - $29.79per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model. Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using relevant and effective teaching methods.
Follows the therapist's plan of care. Adjusts the treatment based on patient response and available evidence only after communicating with the evaluating therapist and documenting that communication in the daily note.
Produces documentation in accordance with the Clinical Documentation Policy (CTSCP67). (23)
If applicable, completes annual education as assigned to comply with DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program requirements.
Department Specific Job Function
Follows treatment plan of care established by PT
Provides treatment interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, ultrasound
Administers electrical stimulation treatment
Provides therapeutic exercise in the water (aquatic therapy)
Completes daily documentation and charging in therapy EMR
Coordinates with PT on patient treatment interventions
Communicates with referring provider on patient progress and treatment recommendations

Provides comprehensive prenatal and breastfeeding education. Excels in customer service, team building and problem solving abilities Perform in-office injections and blood pressure monitoring.
