The Customer Account Specialist position is responsible for providing best in class customer service to Sales and a portfolio of assigned customers. Customer Centric Focus

Review open order reports daily and drives communication-advising customers on change in dates.
Create shipping release with a high level of accuracy; to achieve on time delivery.
Manage expedited shipments as necessary, with required management approval.
Create expedited sales order requests with scheduling as needed.
Responsible for processing Returns and Credit as needed. Provide timely feedback so customers have an effortless experience.
Add, modify customer contacts in Salesforce CRM- data is leveraged for satisfaction surveys, marketing, and tradeshow announcements.
Leverage Salesforce CRM to collect insights into customer expectations. Along with capture interactions via service calls, successes, and problems to drive ongoing improvements.
Liaise as needed with cross-functional internal teams (including Pre-media, Engineering, Supply Chain, Scheduling, Quality, Production and Shipping) to improve the entire customer experience.
Escalate internal systematic/process concerns until final solution/resolution is provided to customer.
Maintain product awareness- technical understanding of our products/processes.
Process and manage non-conformances with internal and external customers.
Provide samples to customers.
Attain pricing or price lists on existing items as needed
May require light travel to internal meetings or customer meetings.

What You Will Do

Perform direct line management activities and provides leadership for approximately 15-20 engineers within this technical group.
Provide technical oversight of CRADs, IRADs, projects and program support, as well as technical development of people, training, performance management, Radar Cross Section (RCS) measurement range management, and resource allocation.
Perform individual contributor workload in the leader’s subject matter discipline.
Team with the Department Leader in the execution of Materials and Process Engineering, Hardware Engineering Discipline and Raytheon Engineering goals.
Ensure two-way communication for section members; serve as the day-to-day liaison to the programs concerning employee job assignments, performance, and recognition.
Responsibilities also include coordinating program staffing needs and reductions, optimizing resource utilization, and interviewing applicants.
Provide Materials and Process Engineering support to program’s product life cycle (design reviews, gate reviews, Material Review Board, Change Control Board, Process Change Board, and engineering peer reviews).
Provide oversight to ensure the accuracy of technical output of each assignment based on data and analyses.
Interface with other organizations across the Raytheon Enterprise such as Mission Assurance & Quality, Operations, Reliability, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Signature Management & Technology (Low Observables)
Experience with Computational Electromagnetic Codes (CEM)
Experience performing RCS measurement/testing, prediction, and/or design
Experience in prior leadership roles (frontline or project leader, experience leading teams)
Experience in military, aerospace, or similar Department of Defense applications or environments

We are seeking skilled Make-Ready Designers (primary focus) and Power Distribution Designers to support engineering programs for major electric and telecom utilities. Design, develop, and productionize advanced machine learning and AI models in partnership with data engineering and software engineering teams.
Establish and promote MLOps best practices, including experiment tracking, model versioning, reproducibility, CI/CD, and model monitoring using tools such as MLflow and DSpy.
Lead the design and evaluation of AI and generative AI solutions, including LLM-based systems, and agent-based workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional team to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-impact, data-driven solutions.
Communicate complex analytical and model-driven insights to technical and non-technical audiences through clear narratives, reports, and presentations.
Ensure model quality, robustness, and regulatory alignment through rigorous testing, validation, and explainability techniques.
Drive adoption of enterprise standards for data science, machine learning, and responsible AI.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation using advanced analytics and AI techniques.
Lead and mentor more junior data scientists, providing guidance and support in their professional development while working on projects.

Preferred Qualifications

A Master's or PhD degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in data science or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a project leadership role.
Experience building and deploying production solutions
Experience with MLOps tools and practices, including MLflow (or similar) for experiment tracking and model management.
2+ years of experience in Insurance, actuarial, or a related field
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data visualization, data wrangling techniques, NLP approaches, ML model selection.
Solid understanding of model approaches to satisfy regulatory requirements regarding explainability/interpretability of advanced AI/ML models
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
A passion for continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and developments.

Preferred Skills

Experience with natural language processing (NLP), LLMs, prompt engineering, and advanced ML models.
Familiarity with modern ML debugging, evaluation, and optimization tools such as DSpy or equivalent.
Knowledge of responsible AI practices, including bias detection, fairness assessment, and model risk management.
Knowledge of data governance and data privacy regulations.
Background in finance, healthcare, or other specialized industries.

The estimated base pay range for this job is:

$111,300.00 - $207,800.00
