Remora is hiring a Director of Project Execution. This individual will manage customer deployments of Remora’s carbon capture systems, guiding projects from planning through commissioning. The Director of Project Execution will be both a project driver and a customer advocate, ensuring deployments are safe, efficient, and aligned with customer needs, while also identifying opportunities for expanded partnerships.

We’re a 50-person climate tech startup based in Detroit, MI. We're building a device that captures a semi-truck’s carbon emissions directly from the tailpipe. We'll sell the CO2 to end-users, and share that revenue with our customers, so our device will create a new revenue stream while reducing their emissions.

Responsibilities

Plan & Develop

• Lead permitting and regulatory approval processes for customer sites.
• Coordinate with AE firms and engineers to design layouts, infrastructure, and system integration plans.
• Develop site plans and training procedures for site operations and maintenance.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities during planning to deepen customer partnerships.

Execute

• Manage deployment activities end-to-end, from permitting through construction, installation, and commissioning.
• Oversee contractors, vendors, and site partners to ensure scope, schedule, and budget targets are met.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to avoid project delays or cost impacts.
• Travel frequently to customer sites to oversee execution and resolve challenges.
• Share customer insights with commercial teams to support account growth and expansion.

Collaborate

• Serve as the day-to-day customer-facing contact for deployment projects, providing regular updates and progress reports.
• Partner with internal engineering, EHS, and commercial teams to ensure deployments meet technical and safety standards.
• Work with municipalities, contractors, and regulators to coordinate permitting, construction, and inspections.

Grow

• Help develop scalable processes and playbooks for deployment that can be applied across multiple customer projects.
• Provide resources and training to ensure customers and partners are confident in operating deployed systems.
• Support customer success efforts by surfacing opportunities for long-term engagement and repeat deployments.

Design

• Contribute to process improvements by documenting lessons learned and standardizing practices.
• Ensure technical requirements are aligned with both customer needs and regulatory frameworks.
• Help optimize site deployment models for efficiency and repeatability.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in project/program management, ideally in energy, infrastructure, or industrial deployments.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong customer-facing skills with a proven ability to build trust and manage expectations.
• Business development mindset, with the ability to identify and surface opportunities for account growth.
• Knowledge of permitting, construction, and system integration (mechanical/electrical).

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer Mule Vehicle Triage (E/E) to support our OEM customer in Novi, MI with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and issue resolution on Mule and early prototype vehicles.

This role is and requires strong hands-on experience with in-vehicle networks, data logging, and triage processes.

The ideal candidate is highly skilled in vehicle communication networks, the use of Vector tools, and data logging systems, and is able to work independently onsite with the customer.

Key Responsibilities

Onsite Mule Vehicle Triage & Issue Resolution

• Perform structured troubleshooting of electrical and electronic issues
• Isolate and analyze faults in vehicle EE systems
• Support quick restoration of vehicle functionality

Vehicle Network Analysis & Diagnostics

• Work with CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Automotive Ethernet (incl. DoIP)
• Perform communication checks, trace analysis, and bus monitoring

Data Logging & Configuration

• Set up, configure, and operate various data loggers
• Validate logger configuration and evaluate recorded data

Vector Tools & Hardware Operation

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Emissions Certification Engineer to support regulatory certification and compliance activities for gasoline, diesel, and hybrid powertrain programs. The candidate will work closely with calibration, testing, and regulatory teams to ensure vehicles meet EPA and CARB emissions standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead vehicle and engine emissions certification submissions to EPA & CARB
• Prepare and manage certification documentation per CFR requirements
• Coordinate emission testing (FTP-75, US06, HWFET, WLTP, etc.)
• Support powertrain calibration teams to achieve emissions compliance

Role Overview

The BMS (Battery Management System) Architect – AUTOSAR BSW Development is responsible for defining, designing, and guiding the implementation of the BSW software architecture for Battery Management Systems based on the AUTOSAR Classic Platform.

This includes ownership of the AUTOSAR BSW stack integration, ECU architecture, safety concept alignment, and software interfaces for highvoltage battery functions such as SOC/SOH/SOE estimation, cell monitoring, diagnostics, thermal management, and communication.

The architect collaborates closely with system engineering, functional safety, hardware engineering, and platform software teams to ensure a compliant, scalable, and production-ready BMS software solution.

• Define and maintain the AUTOSAR-based BMS ECU Software Architecture including BSW and CDD module distribution in multicore environment.
• Own BSW configuration & integration (MCAL, ECU Abstraction, Services, Communication stack).
• Ensure design is compliant with ISO 26262 (ASILD)
• Participate in safety work products: FMEDA, safety concepts
• Collaborate on cybersecurity requirements aligned with ISO 21434.

Responsibilities

• Safely manning an Engineering Watch
• Complete tasks as assigned by the Preventative Maintenance System
• Maintain Engine and Deck Equipment such as Air Compressors, Winches, Sewage Units, Ballast Pumps, Potable Water Pumps, and OWS
• Other duties assigned by the Vessels Chief Engineer

Extol, Inc. is looking for a self-driven and detail-oriented Infra-nanoStake Design Engineer! This position is responsible for concepting, developing, and completing InfraStake and nanoStake designs that integrate into complete customer applications. Strong candidates will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple design packages in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly with sales and customers, and release accurate, manufacturable designs on time.

The Ideal Candidate

• Provides detailed mechanical designs for InfraStake and nanoStake applications, including modeling, documentation, and release to manufacturing.
• Maintains organized project documentation including CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and internal order records.
• Ensures design intent aligns with customer requirements, manufacturability standards, and internal design guidelines.
• Works collaboratively with sales, machinists, assembly technicians, and customers to clarify requirements and resolve issues quickly.
• Develops process improvements by analyzing design results and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and product performance.
• Demonstrates transparency and proactive communication when challenges arise, maintaining accountability in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent technical education/experience).
• Working experience with SolidWorks (hands-on use required; familiarity with PDM preferred).
• Ability to create 3D models and mechanical drawings and interpret manufacturing requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including customer-facing communication.
• Organized, process-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple design packages simultaneously.
