- CDL-A + 6 months minimum experience*

SUMMARY OF JOB: Legal Assistant needed, minimum of 6 months - 1 year of insurance defense experience strongly preferred, but not required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares correspondence, memoranda and other legal documents from written and oral direction.
- Prepares standard correspondence, such as cover letters, to accompany motions, pleadings, or discovery prepared by attorney.
- Screens telephone calls and records messages.
- Reviews all incoming mail on a daily basis for the purpose of screening any urgent matters, and important dates/deadlines, while also preparing appropriate correspondence to court and/or client regarding same.
- Observes confidentiality of attorney-client relationship.
- Maintains attorney calendar and keeps attorney apprised of upcoming events/tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Schedules and prepares notices for all depositions with appropriate letters, pleadings, and witness fee checks when appropriate.
- Schedules hearing dates with the court and prepares appropriate notices, letters, pleadings and motion payments.
- Handles all electronic filings and other court filings.
- Ensures that attorney billable time is recorded in a timely manner and pursuant to client guidelines.
- Performs overflow typing, filing, photocopying, or reception relief as requested by the Office Manager or Firm Administrator.

About the Role:

Youll operate specialized equipmentsuch as hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loadersto load, unload, and relocate containers as part of our daily logistics operations. Your work ensures containers are handled accurately and safely, keeping freight moving on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the yard.
Use top loaders, side loaders, and/or cranes to stack, move, and organize containers.
Perform equipment inspections before and after use to ensure operational safety.

- Design and develop EDS components including shields, troughs, grommets, connectors, terminals, and power distribution components.
- Support development from concept (clean sheet design) through virtual validation, testing, sign-off, and manufacturing launch.
- Collaborate with purchasing and finance teams to create technical specifications for sourcing and supplier quoting.
- Develop and maintain a standard library of core EDS components aligned with global automotive standards.
- Work closely with VW Group module owners and suppliers to define and release wiring and power distribution components.

• Develop Complex Device Drivers (CDD) for gasoline Engine Control Module (ECM/PCM) functions on ECU platform.
• Implement software for engine sensing and actuation including crank/cam position, engine speed, and direction detection.
• Support development of engine control features such as knock detection windows, spark control, fuel injector control, misfire detection, and manifold air pressure sensing.
• Implement above timing features using GTM-based timing and signal processing logic using modules such as TIM, TOM, ATOM.
