The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership to the Manufacturing Engineering team to advance manufacturing by reducing cost, improving quality, expanding safety, and increasing on-time delivery. This position functions as a working supervisor and is expected to both lead the team and directly perform hands-on manufacturing engineering activities as the business needs require.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Leading project teams to acquire, integrate and implement technologies into manufacturing and production processes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
- 10 years' experience in an Engineering/Operations environment with 3-5 years in a Managerial position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for providing manufacturing engineering support to product design, product improvement, cost reduction and daily operations as assigned; providing the machines, tooling and processes necessary for that support; and for providing timely coordinated implementation of short- and long-term goals.

- Day Shift General Summary The Run Test Technician 3 is responsible for performing final functional testing, verification, and troubleshooting of industrial gas compressors/processing skids and PLC control panels prior to shipment.
This role ensures equipment meets safety, performance, and customer specifications by conducting run tests, analyzing data, and working closely with engineering, production, and quality teams.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities : Conduct Functional Run tests on natural gas compressor packages and PLC-based control panels in accordance with company procedures and customer specifications.

The 2nd Shift Manual Machinist will set up and operate manual machines, including but not limited to mills and lathes, to perform machining operations by performing the following duties.
The hours for this role are: 2:00 pm-10:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Read, process sheets, blueprints, and sketches of part to determine machining to be done, dimensional specifications, set up, and operating requirements.
- Identify, select and install proper tooling for operations being performed.
- Calculate proper feeds and speeds for a variety of steel grades, copper, brass, aluminum and bronze
- Intuitively understand capabilities of tooling and machinery.
- Understand applicable quality systems and perform necessary quality inspections.
- Apply principles of Lean Manufacturing to reduced setup times and improve productivity.
- Employee must be able to set up all necessary measuring equipment and routinely check the calibration of the equipment while measuring.

Pathways, Training & Advancement Initial training includes the 3-week Information Warfare Basic Course (IWBC) and the 7-week Basic Oceanography Accession Training (BOAT).
Officers may also attend Division Officer Leadership Course (DIVOLC).
Postgraduate education at the Naval Postgraduate School is required for officers at the LCDR level and senior, typically as mid-grade Lieutenants.
Promotions to LTJG and LT occur at 2 and 4 years of service, with competitive promotion opportunities to LCDR, CDR, CAPT, and Flag Officer ranks.
Requires a Baccalaureate degree, preferably in a technical field, with a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or greater.
Must have completed a full college calculus series (I and II) with a minimum 'C' average, and a college-level calculus-based physics series (I and II) with a minimum 'B' average.
A desired degree is in physics, physics-based oceanography, meteorology, hydrography, earth science, engineering, or mathematics.
