ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an opening for a highly-skilled and experienced Civil Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze survey reports, maps, plans, and other relevant information for project planning
• Oversee survey operations for construction, develop site grading and drainage plans
• Oversee SWPPP implementation and maintenance in accordance with regulations
• Check and reconcile drawings with field survey control points, ensure elevations, rebar placement, top of concrete, foundation location matches the drawings before concrete is ordered
• Submitting permit applications for projects with multiple regulations to appropriate local, state and federal agencies
• Budget construction cost and risk analysis for projects
• Site investigations: Conduct field visits and analyze survey data, soil reports, and environmental constraints to determine project feasibility
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with architects, contractors, government officials, and project managers to resolve design modifications and project issues
• Project Support: Will support Project Managers and other engineers in project activities including, but not limited to the following: Preparation of bid packages, acquisition of quotations and bids, preparation of purchase order documents, tracking orders and processing the invoices
• Assist in the preparation and management of project schedules, Gantt charts, and departmental calendars
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects under direction of project managers
• Assist in the development of project cost estimates
• Engineering Departmental Support: Will support activities and projects to maintain efficient operation and continued improvement of the engineering department
• These include, but not limited to the following: Evaluation of software packages for process, safety, document control or project management
• Project Engineering: Will support technical and construction activities necessary for project completion
• These activities include, but not limited to the following: Conduct technical inspections of all components built for the project
• Field verification of P&IDs and redlining/correction as required
• Be responsible for ensuring that the project is managed in a safe and professional manner and that it is undertaken in compliance with all relevant SHE requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education Level: Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree
• Education Details: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with preference to civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines; Professional Engineer license

Job Summary:

The Professional Engineer is responsible for reviewing civil plans, defining project scope and objectives, coordinating activities of a project team, and identifying resources. Develops detailed work plans based on the civil design, meeting project schedules, providing engineering and construction estimates, and producing status reports. Responsible for project tracking and analysis in order to take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Ensures adherences to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.

• Oversee projects from conception through completion/end of construction.
• Lead a project team within a designated area including vendors and contractors.
• Manage tasks to ensure on time completion to meet project construction schedules or client deadlines.

• Need PE in either CA or WA
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ Project Management experience.

Technical

• Experience conducting end to end project management of large fiber deployment projects; able to provide technical and analytical guidance to a project team.
• Experience managing Outside Plant and Inside Plant projects.
• Advanced experience with MS Excel, MS Word, Bluebeam and Google Earth.
• Experience with various fiber optic / carrier / collocation products and services in an operational, engineering or implementation role.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Relationship management experience (government/city officials, clients, etc.) preferred.
• Experience with Civil/and or telecommunications construction background preferred.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics preferred.

The Manager - Data Science and Analytics plays a critical role in revenue and margin management for the Merchandising organization by performing various pricing analyses to exceed the financial targets. This highly visible individual will manage the daily and weekly promotions for print and digital marketing vehicles, so to be successful, strong analytical skills and business savviness is vital. This Team Member will develop and use analytics tools to draw insights and provides actionable recommendations while exhibiting higher-order critical thinking under ambiguous situations.

Major Activities

• Machine Learning Forecasting: Maintain, regularly run, and potentially adjust time-series forecasting pipelines with backtesting, accuracy diagnostics, drift detection, and ongoing monitoring.
• Pricing optimization: Maintain, regularly run and potentially adjust pricing/markdown optimization engines (e.g., Gurobi, CP-SAT), including feasibility checks, constraint adjustments, relaxations, and scenario analysis.
• Mathematical modeling: Translate new business rules (e.g., new constraints for pricing) into robust mathematical formulations.
• Production engineering: Maintain a modular codebase across forecasting, optimization, and data workflows; keep ensure code quality, test coverage, and documentation. Maintain overrides to handle data quality issues.
• Reporting & impact measurement: Own reporting for the pricing engine, turn recommendations into stakeholder-ready insights and quantify business impact.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Merchants and Pricing Advisory to translate business needs into features for retail pricing algorithm
• Develop and implement user-friendly analytics dashboards and tools that perform complex analysis manipulating large data sets to identify actionable business insights

We need an engineer who can bridge Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Manufacturing Engineering to support manufacturing and our contract manufacturer to drive quality and capacity.

The ideal candidate possesses both a high level of technical expertise and an innate passion to build. You will play a critical role in creating and refining designs and processes in order to improve the product design, manufacturability, quality, and productivity. 

You will manage and oversee the manufacturing of a medical device by our contract manufacturer. Real world experience in medical device development, production, and quality processes under FDA good manufacturing practices and ISO standards required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the manufacturing of an FDA regulated medical device
• Contribute to the design of specific components
• Create and maintain structured, multi-level BOMs ensuring linkage between CAD and ECOs
• Generate and drive Engineering Change Requests/Orders (ECR/ECO); document rationale, verification and validation
• Act as the a technical liaison to injection molders, machining houses, PCB fabs, and EMS partners - translating GD&T, cosmetic standards, and regulatory requirements into clear supplier deliverables
• Release controlled CAD/STEP/DXF packages, review tool-design and steel-safe changes, and approve first-article samples (FAI) 
• Rapid-prototype concepts with 3-D printing, CNC, and casting techniques
• Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications
• Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes
•  Executing design change implementations and supports the overall design change process
•  Evaluating the manufacturing processes for opportunities in productivity gains

We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Sr. Data Engineer (Hybrid) on our Information Technology team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.

As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing
and maintaining AMA's enterprise data platform to support analytics,
interoperability, and responsible AI adoption. This role partners closely with
platform engineering, data governance, data science, IT security, and business
stakeholders to deliver highquality, reliable, and secure data products. This
role contributes to AMA's modern lakehouse architecture, optimizing data
operations, and embedding governance and quality standards into engineering
workflows. This role serves as a
senior technical contributor within the team-providing mentorship to junior
engineers and implementing engineering best practices within the data platform function,
in alignment with architectural direction set by leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Engineering & AI Enablement

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and
  ETL/ELT workflows supporting analytics, operational reporting, and AI/ML use
  cases.
• Implement best practice patterns for ingestion,
  transformation, modeling, and orchestration within a modern lakehouse
  environment (e.g., Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Data Lake).
• Develop highperformance
  data models and curated datasets with strong attention to quality, usability,
  and interoperability; create reusable engineering components and automation.
• Collaborate with the Architecture Team, the Data
  Platform Lead, and federated IT teams to optimize storage, compute, and
  architectural patterns for performance and costefficiency.
• Build model-ready data sets and feature
  pipelines to support AI/ ML use cases; serve as a technical coordination point
  supporting business units' AI-related infrastructure needs.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI Working
  Group to operationalize models responsibly and maintain ongoing monitoring
  signals.

Governance, Quality & Compliance

• Embed data governance, metadata standards,
  lineage tracking, and quality controls directly into engineering workflows;
  ensure technical implementation and alignment within engineering workflows.
• Work with the Data Governance Lead and business
  stakeholders to operationalize stewardship, classification, validation,
  retention, and access standards.
• Implement privacybydesign and securitybydesign
  principles, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory
  obligations.
• Maintain documentation for pipelines, datasets,
  and transformations to support transparency and audit requirements.

Platform Reliability, Observability & Optimization

• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures,
  performance bottlenecks, data anomalies, and platformlevel issues.
• Implement observability tooling, alerts,
  logging, and dashboards to ensure endtoend reliability.
• Support cost governance by optimizing compute
  resources, refining job schedules, and advising on efficient architecture.
• Collaborate with the Data Platform Lead on
  scaling, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management.
• Collaborate with business units to understand
  data needs, translate them into engineering requirements, and deliver
  fit-for-purpose data solutions; share and apply best practices and emerging
  technologies within assigned initiatives.
• Work with IT Security and Legal/ Compliance to
  ensure platform and datasets meet risk and regulatory standards.
  

Staff Management

• Lead, mentor, and provide management oversight
  for staff.
• Responsible for setting objectives, evaluating
  employee performance, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Responsible for developing staff knowledge and
  skills to support career development.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience and HS diploma/equivalent education required.
2. 5+ years of experience in data engineering within cloud environments
3. Experience in people management preferred.
4. Demonstrated hands-on experience with modern data platforms (Databricks preferred).
5. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data
   transformation frameworks.
6. Experience designing and operationalizing
   ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration workflows (Airflow, Databricks Workflows), and
   CI/CD processes.
7. Solid understanding of data modeling,
   structured/unstructured data patterns, and schema design.
8. Experience implementing governance and quality
   controls: metadata, lineage, validation, stewardship workflows.
9. Working knowledge of cloud architecture, IAM,
   networking, and security best practices.
10. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across
    technical and business teams.
11. Exposure to AI/ML engineering concepts, feature
    stores, model monitoring, or MLOps patterns.
12. Experience with infrastructureascode
    (Terraform, CloudFormation) or DevOps tooling.

This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $115,523.42-$150,972.44.
