This is an exciting Global Expatriate opportunity responsible for leading Quality Control microbiology activities within a state-of-the-art biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Initially an individual contributor within the QC Bioassay and Microbial Support function, this role will evolve into a leadership position overseeing QC microbiology testing and contamination control programs. Your roles and responsibilities will include:
Environmental & Utility Monitoring Program Development
- Design, implement, and validate environmental and utility monitoring programs aligned with global regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, USP, EP, JP).

- Establish and refine microbiological QC testing practices and protocols.
- Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, Validation, and Engineering teams to ensure QC readiness.
- Guide the implementation of microbiological standards across the organization.
Compliance & Audit Support
- Ensure alignment with cGMP and international microbiology regulations.
- Represent microbiology programs during internal and external audits.
- Develop and maintain microbiology-related SOPs, validation protocols, and reports.
Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Develop and conduct microbiology training for cross-functional teams.
- Drive knowledge-sharing of microbiology best practices and compliance expectations.
Technology & Innovation
- Evaluate and implement advanced microbiological testing technologies and methods.
- Monitor emerging trends and regulatory expectations to future-proof contamination control practices.
Desired Skills and Experiences:

This individual will ensure that facilities, utilities, equipment, computerized systems, and processes are designed, installed, qualified, and maintained in a validated state in compliance with FDA, EU GMP, ICH, and other global regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
Validation & Qualification
- Lead and execute DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ activities for aseptic filling lines and isolators/RABS, autoclaves, SIP/CIP systems, lyophilizers, sterile filtration systems, cleanrooms, and classified areas
- Author, review, and approve validation protocols; support execution, interpret data, and generate final reports
- Develop and maintain Validation Master Plans (VMPs)
- Support process validation, cleaning validation, and aseptic process simulations (media fills)
- Lead validation of critical utilities including Water for Injection (WFI), clean steam, HVAC systems, and compressed gases (CDA, nitrogen)
- Perform environmental qualification and airflow visualization (smoke studies)

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Drywall Estimator / Project Manager will oversee the estimating and management of drywall projects from bid through completion. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of drywall systems, materials, labor productivity, and construction sequencing. This role requires strong analytical skills to produce accurate estimates, as well as the ability to manage awarded projects to ensure they are delivered on schedule, within scope, and on budget. Effective communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams is critical, along with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda to prepare detailed drywall estimates, including material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

- Develop project schedules and manpower plans based on drywall scopes and coordinate with field supervision.
- Secure and allocate resources, including material orders, manpower, equipment, and permits where required.
- Negotiate and manage changes to drywall contract scope, schedule, and costs.
- Conduct site walks and inspections to verify installation methods, assess quality, and track productivity against estimates.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, submittals, and cost tracking.
- Regularly report on project progress, financials, and variances.
- Provide leadership to project teams, fostering collaboration and mentoring staff.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field; equivalent field experience in drywall estimating/project management may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in drywall estimating and/or project management within the commercial construction industry.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, wall types, finish schedules, and specifications specific to drywall and ceilings.
- Knowledge of drywall assemblies, framing systems, insulation, fireproofing, soundproofing, and finish standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Timberline or similar).
- Solid computer skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- OSHA-30 certification preferred.
