Position Purpose

To support legal functions of Delta in the Americas region.


Core Competencies/Strengths

  • Deep background in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial terms of supplier and customer agreements, including but not limited to global master purchase agreement, distribution and sales representative agreements, terms and conditions, stocking and warehousing agreements, as well as service and development agreements on both the domestic and international level.
  • Demonstrated mastery of substantive U.S. legal concepts pertaining to commercial contracts and business development, including sophisticated understanding and drafting skills around warranties, remedies, indemnities, limitations of liability, product liability, intellectual property rights, etc.
  • Functional knowledge of various legal forms relevant to the in-house context, such as leases, consulting and other independent contractor agreements, employee handbooks, privacy policies, demand letters, settlements and releases, etc.
  • Functional knowledge of corporate compliance, including HR laws and regulations, corporate governance and entity management, etc.
  • Interest in broad product lines in emerging technologies, power electronics, and/or other subjects relevant to Delta’s product portfolio.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to provide clear and concise business-oriented legal advice.
  • Must provide timely status updates to your manager and the product team leaders you would support.
  • A strong desire to solve problems, with a balanced focus on both legal and business concerns.
  • Enthusiasm for positive and respectful relationships, both internally and externally.

The Opportunity:


FSEC invites applications for an Undergraduate Summer Research Internship focused on low-carbon methanol production from fugitive methane resources. This internship will take place at M2X Energy Inc. (Rockledge, Florida), where the intern will collaborate with both researchers and industry engineers. All research and hands-on activities will occur at this off-campus sponsor facility.

Responsibilities:


This program focuses on supporting activities related to process development, optimizations and designs of portable, modular gas-to-methanol technologies in partnership with M2X Energy Inc., which involves, but is not limited to:



  • Development and review of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).


  • Creation and support of CAD drawings for equipment layouts, skid assemblies, and process components.


  • Design, assembly, and experimentation with benchtop instruments, including data acquisition and analysis.


  • Basic process control support and maintenance of engineering and manufacturing documentation.


  • Assembly, modification, and operation of flow reactors and adsorption testing systems (such as breakthrough rigs) to generate data for pressure swing adsorption (PSA) modeling and validation.


  • Participation in chemical laboratory experiments and processes, including but not limited to testing adsorbent materials to enhance methane recovery from renewable natural gas streams.


  • Preparation of written and oral reports summarizing experimental results, processes, and findings.



Minimum Qualifications:

Enrollment or recent completion in an engineering or science undergraduate program and basic proficiency in one or more of the following: chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or chemistry with scientific lab work.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with process diagrams and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) and interpreting or drafting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).


  • Hands-on experience in bench-scale instrumentation development and experimentation.


  • Familiar with piping assembly, fittings, and gas cylinder handling.


  • Track records with detailed documentation of experimental procedure, SOPs plus good data management skills.


  • Familiarity with data processing, analysis and computing tools such as Excel, Origin, MATLAB and Python.


  • Interest in manufacturing, process engineering and clean technology processes.


  • Hands-on aptitude and comfortable working in a shop, laboratory and/or manufacturing environment.


  • Strong communication skills and awareness of other technical staff, external partners, equipment/instrument manufacturers, etc.

Established in 2012, Landhawk is a multidisciplinary environmental consulting firm of 25 professionals with expertise spanning natural resources, cultural resources, and water resource management. Position Details and Expectations

Position Summary

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Establish the construction management vision, structure, and operating framework for ACP’s growing portfolio.
  • Develop and implement repeatable systems, standard operating procedures, documentation templates, and best practices to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery across multiple concurrent developments.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on pipeline planning, project sequencing, procurement strategies, construction risks, and resource needs.
  • Represent ACP with joint‑venture partners, lenders, investors/syndicators, public agencies, and municipal officials.

2. Project & Construction Oversight

  • Lead all construction activities from pre‑construction mobilization through project closeout and turnover to asset/property management.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, baseline budgets, milestones, and critical‑path tracking; proactively address delays, scope gaps, and sequencing issues.
  • Oversee GC procurement including RFP/RFQ issuance, bid leveling, interviews, contract negotiations, value‑engineering strategies, and trade contractor oversight.
  • Direct construction contract administration, ensuring complete documentation of contracts, change orders, lien waivers, pay applications, and draw packages.

  • Maintain audit‑ready records for environmental reviews, zoning, permitting, OSHA safety, insurance, accessibility (ADA/504), closeout certifications, and funding agency requirements.

4. Financial Oversight & Risk Management
