Responsibilities:

• Execute standard purchasing processes and strategies including procure-to-pay definition and optimization
• Incumbents at this level have the authority to purchase at the most favorable price consistent with quality, quantity, delivery and other factors, raw materials, equipment, machinery and/or supplies for the operation of the organization
• Participates in the selection of vendor sources and has considerable latitude in determining acceptable price
• Plan and maintain optimal level of inventory using plan for every part (PFEP)

The UNM Division of Urology currently consists of fellowship-trained and specialized urologists within the fields of oncology, pediatrics, robotics, and renal transplantation. Surgeons within the division provide full urologic care to a variety of benign and malignant conditions.

Position: Hematology Oncology Physician

Location: Alamogordo, NM

Opportunity:

CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico in Alamogordo is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hem Onc physician to join our established practice. Located on the main hospital campus in Alamogordo, the CHRISTUS Cancer Center provides comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology services in a patient'centered environment. The clinic includes 10 treatment beds, two private chemotherapy rooms, and access to advanced technology such as a new linear accelerator, 64'slice CT, and 1.5T MRI. Patients benefit from a multidisciplinary team that includes oncology'certified nurses, a clinical nurse specialist, a nurse navigator, and strong surgical and specialty support across breast surgery, pathology, orthopedics, cardiology, pulmonology, and colorectal surgery.

The practice is 70% oncology and 30% hematology, with all chemotherapy delivered outpatient. Physicians typically see 14-16 patients per day, including three new consults, and perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies. Call is shared between the medical oncologist and CNS, with after'hours triage handled through an answering service. The group values energetic, quality'focused providers who follow NCCN guidelines and thrive in a collaborative, close'knit team. With strong community demand, immediate patient volume, and CHRISTUSs reputation for excellence, this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on cancer care in Southern New Mexico..
