Senior Plumbing Designer – MEP Consulting ENG
Phoenix, Arizona
Key Responsibilities
• Design plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary, storm, and natural gas systems for commercial and institutional buildings
• Develop SD, DD, and CD construction documents using Revit
• Perform plumbing calculations, equipment sizing, and system layout development
• Coordinate plumbing designs with mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural teams
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction phases
• Conduct site visits and support field investigations as needed
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and technical design leadership
• Mentor junior designers and support internal quality control standards
Qualifications
• 5–10+ years of plumbing design experience in MEP consulting engineering
• Strong experience designing systems for commercial, multifamily, healthcare, or mixed-use developments
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and industry standards
• Experience preparing construction documents and supporting construction administration
• Ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors
Preferred
• EIT or PE license
• Experience with large mixed-use, healthcare, commercial or hospitality projects
