Manufacturing Maintenance Manager

Elevated Materials collects and upcycles carbon fiber from local aerospace companies. We use this material to create a range of different products across many different industries.

This role is considered a leadership role and will be expected to lead entry and mid level team members as well as communicate with higher management.

General Facility Management and Maintenance:

• 
  
• Ensures safety and functionality on the shop floor and throughout the facility
  
• Identifies areas of maintenance, repair and/or new projects needed throughout the facility.
  
• Maintains facility and shop cleanliness
  
• Coordinates facility maintenance and improvements
  
• Creates schedules of recurring maintenance tasks.
  
• Maintains and maintenance repair logs
  
• Works with Production and Finance & Admin managers to coordinate services and time needed to maintain the facility and related projects in process
  
• Leads and coordinates vendor quotes or performs maintenance work directly:
  
• Cleaning Services
  
• Equipment Repair
  
• Installation
  
• Electrical and plumbing work
  
• Waste Management
  
• Hand off vendor contracting to Finance and Admin once the best quote has been identified
  
• Creates and maintains a services database of vendors, subcontractors, and facilities.
  
• Ensure compliance with CAL OSHA
  

Facility Production Management and Maintenance:

• 
  
• Maintains machines on a recurring schedule
  
• Occasional cleaning tasks
  
• Manages, tracks, and reallocates resources to problem solve utilizing cross-functional platforms (Asana Issue Ticket Board, Production Tracking Log, etc)
  
• Works with Logistics Coordinator to receive and store materials on site and via pickups.
  

Continuous Improvement:

• 
  
• Attends the training needed for facility management
  
• Safety
  
• Lean Manufacturing
  
• Identifies areas for improvement related to safety and efficiency with facility setup and machines
  
• Utilizes cross-functional platforms and is comfortable with digital systems
  
• Monday - Friday, On Site
  
• Availability: Regularly attends scheduled weekly team meetings and has availability for facility related projects and upkeep as needed
