CNC Machinist Level 2

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated individual with experience who will be responsible for performing machining operations to produce quality parts. The right candidate will also be able to complete machine setups, edit programs, troubleshoot machining issues, and maintain quality standards with minimal supervision. Additionally, the CNC Machinist Level 2 will be able to complete machining operations using CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, Manual Mills, Manual Lathes, and other machining equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Perform complete machine setups including tooling, fixtures, and offsets
  
• Edit CNC programs at the control (G & M code adjustments)
  
• Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T requirements
  
• Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds
  
• Machining complex parts to tight tolerances
  
• Use of precision measurement tools
  
• Conduct in-process and final inspections
  
• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues
  
• Assist and work with other department personnel
  
• Maintain production and quality documentation
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  
• Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience
  
• Minimum 2 years CNC Mill Experience
  
• Minimum 2 years CNC Lathe Experience
  
• 3-5 axis machining and setups
  
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
  
• Experience with common CNC controls
  
• Strong problem solving and math skills
  
• Manual Machining Experience preferred
  
• High school diploma or GED preferred
  
• Cam Programming Experience a plus
