Job Summary and Qualifications 

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record. - Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• (RN) Registered Nurse with an active license in the state of Texas or compact
• Associate Degree required, Bachelor's preferred
• 1 year of experience working in an Acute Inpatient Rehab setting required.

The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.​​​

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the hospital
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point 

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing/ BSN required
• Registered Nurse from Texas Nursing Board
• Masters of Science in Nursing - preferred
• Basic Life Support (Must be by American Health Association)
• At least two years of demonstrated management experience in hospital setting in a women services department
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• STABLE must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
