Realize Your Vision as a New Registered Nurse

• Assists patients with daily activities as delegated by the rehabilitation team.
• Communicates patient concerns and changes in condition to rehabilitation nurses or therapists.

• Must be currently enrolled and in good academic standing in a professional Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
• Initial term including didactic/skills lab must include fundamentals of nursing or course equivalent.
• Return of one or two (if available) instructor evaluations indicating satisfactory performance of fundamental nursing skills.
• Successful completion of preceptor tool and core competency at 90 days and annually.
• Must present proof of continued enrollment and passing grade in nursing classes each semester until graduation and remain in good academic standing.
• One year experience in inpatient clinical setting preferred.

Education: Graduation from accredited school of nursing. 

Licensure: RN license in applicable state of practice. Valid driver's license in applicable state of practice with good record. Automobile liability insurance in amount required by law in the state in which the automobile is registered. 

Experience: Three years nursing experience with minimum one year in a hospital setting, then preferably in home care or the equivalent.  

Certifications: CPR biannually 

Other: Must be able to lift 50#. Must be able to transfer a patient weighing at least 100# with or without assistive devices. Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, climb stairs, push and pull. Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to drive at least 50 miles at a time. Must be able to drive in adverse weather conditions. Must have good visual or aural acuity, natural or corrected Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions. Must be able to perform complex tasks. Must be able to learn the computer program currently in use. Must be able to relate to the public, particularly with the elderly. Must be able to maintain work pace relative to workload. Must be able to handle stress and change. Must be able to learn the CMS Rules and Regulations for Home Care.

• Responsible for delivering products and materials to customer's jobsites using the most efficient route available while observing and obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations as well as company policies/procedures.

• Unload or assists in unloading products and materials at the customer's jobsite by using crane (boom), conveyor, piggybacks (Moffett) and/or by hand.

• Ensures that delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service.

• Responsible for securing returning loads on the company vehicle prior to leaving the job site.

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL License (preferably with Air Brake and Manual Transmission Endorsements)

• Must possess or be willing to obtain DOT Medical Certification Card (preferably self-certified as \"Non-Excepted Interstate\")

• Have an acceptable driving record for the prior sixty (60) months of operating a commercial motor vehicle.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must be 21 years old or older.

• Must have high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the vehicle to ensure proper delivery while preventing damage to materials and equipment.

• Effective communication skills (verbal and written) when dealing with vendors, customers, management, and team members.

• Must successfully complete all Company training and certification requirements regarding equipment usage, including obtaining R.P. Lumber's Boom and Forklift Certification.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

• Successful applicants are subject to pre-employment drug testing, pre-employment background check and driver motor vehicle history checks in accordance with applicable federal and state law.

• This position requires sitting, standing, bending, and walking most of the day.

• The physical demand of the position requires an individual to have the ability to bend, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and be able to frequently lift and/or move between 50 - 100 pounds.
