About the Role

Works with the Nurse Manager of assigned unit(s) and other members of Nursing Leadership to create an environment that supports professional practice standards. Integrates unit education, evidence-based practice, quality outcomes and strategic initiatives into the development of a collegial relationship with nursing staff and other health care professionals to contribute to high performance patient care environment.

Establishes annual education goals with the Nurse Manager that support those set for the Department and Organization.

Responsibilities

• Develops an education plan and annual competency and executes programming to operationalize goals using didactic education, simulation and demonstration.
• Facilitates the orientation of new staff to assigned units through collaboration and consultation with Nurse Managers and Preceptors to develop individual orientation plans based on assessed needs and maintains accurate orientation records.
• Provides consultation and direction to preceptors, nurses or nurse managers as needed and serves as a mentor for new and current nursing staff.
• Assesses the educational needs of staff in assigned areas in collaboration with nursing management.
• Uses a variety of methods including data collected from performance improvement activities, direct observation, patient satisfaction surveys, and hospital goals.
• Plans and implements formal and informal education activities to meet the needs of nursing staff in assigned areas.
• Provides clinical expertise at point of care including implementing care for complex patients or carrying out complex/high risk procedures.
• Maintains an accurate system of documentation related to the educational experiences of staff, including orientation and ongoing staff development.
• Reviews or develops unit policies and procedures in collaboration with staff; assuring that evidence based practice and research are integrated as appropriate.

Position Summary

The Part-time School Food Professional plays a critical role in supporting the daily lunch operations to ensure a safe, orderly, and positive dining experience for students. The Part-time School Food Professional prepares meals, supervises students during meal periods, reinforces school expectations, maintains cleanliness in the cafeteria/pantry, and assists with operational needs related to food service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sets-up assigned station with appropriate items before meal service; checks for cleanliness before starting preparation of food.
• Assembles prepared food on trays for scholars according to menu.
• Preparing and heating food following DOH protocols.
• Serves food at proper temperatures utilizing appropriate kitchen equipment.

The Scientist II plays a key role in advancing product development and formulation within the surface care portfolio to support business objectives. This role supports all phases of product development while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and quality standards. The Scientist II will collaborate across functions to conduct research, move projects forward, introduce new capabilities, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. By applying strong expertise in formulation, product development, and regulatory compliance, this position contributes to the delivery of safe, effective, and competitive products that meet market and customer needs. Overall, the Scientist II associate helps drive innovation, enhance operational excellence, and strengthen the organization’s product pipeline.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Research and Innovation:

• Conduct research and experiments in support of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Assist and support in concept development.
• Prepare technical reports, analyze data, and ensure application of strong scientific principles.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of chemistry and Good Laboratory Practices.

Formulation Product Development:

Product Testing and Analysis:

• Assist in the development and validation of test methods, SOPs and technical documentation.
• Test raw materials, products and prototypes, comparing them to benchmarks or competitor products.
• Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and contribute to scale-up trial report generation.
• Performs root cause, investigation and failure analysis where necessary.
