Job Summary:

The Sterile Processing Quality Control Technician ensures the highest standards of instrument cleanliness, assembly accuracy, and quality assurance in sterile processing operations. This role combines hands-on technical processing responsibilities with detailed inspection and documentation tasks critical to patient safety and process reliability. This position focuses on quality assurance beyond standard sterile processing technician duties, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal standards while maintaining an unwavering commitment to safety and process excellence.


Job Responsibilities:

-Follow all ANSI/AAMI standards, manufacturer Instructions for Use (IFUs), SOPs, and company Work Instructions.-Decontaminate used surgical instruments and equipment using proper PPE and protocols.-Disassemble, clean, and reassemble complex surgical instruments as required.-Accurately assemble and package instrument trays and sets per guidelines.-Operate washers, sterilizers, and other processing equipment safely and effectively.-Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage prior to packaging.-Document missing or damaged instruments per SOPs.-Maintain accurate and timely records of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and inventory levels.-Handle all instruments and customer-owned items with care to prevent damage.


Skills:

Required Skills & Experience:

-Two (2) years of hands-on experience in sterile processing, demonstrating proficiency in decontamination, assembly, and sterilization procedures.-Strong attention to detail.-Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.-General knowledge of surgical instruments and processing protocols.-Knowledge of sterilization techniques, including steam sterilization and infection control practices.-Familiarity with ANSI/AAMI standards and manufacturer Instructions for Use (IFUs).-Skill in operating washer disinfectors, autoclaves, and other related equipment.

Description of Responsibilities

The Inventory Technician maintains the inventory levels and ensures drug counts, lot numbers, and expiration dates are recorded in the inventory system properly. They also oversee and perform periodic inventory counts and validation in the inventory system.

Responsibilities include the following:

1. Maintaining inventory levels and setting appropriate PAR levels in the inventory system

2. Performs periodic inventory counts and manages the inventory system records

3. Managing purchase orders, overseeing shipping schedules, and maintaining purchase records

4. Responsible for checking in orders received and entering quantities, lot numbers, and expiration dates into the inventory management system

5. Working with warehouse staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies


Minimum Qualifications:

1. At least one (1) year of inventory management in Home Infusion Pharmacy or Hospital is preferred.

2. Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.

3. Ability to evaluate options and to make efficient decisions.

4. Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.

5. Computer skills that include proficiency in inventory systems, spreadsheets, and word processing, and efficient use of the internet and e-mail.


Education and/or Experience:

1. Must have a High School diploma or Graduation Equivalent Diploma (G.E.D.) or Higher.

2. Pharmacy Technician license preferred

3. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to express technical issues in “layman” terms.

4. Experience in pharmaceutical procurement and contract buying practices and excellent math application skills.

5. Strong knowledge of Pharmacy products, including strengths and dosage forms, is preferred. The candidate must be Professional, detail-oriented, and accurate, as well as able to organize, multi-task, and prioritize accordingly.

The Psychiatrist promotes a strengths-based approach to treatment that empowers families, supports a community-based philosophy of service, and ensures that all clinical services are aligned with the agency’s mission and values.

Within agency guidelines and professional standards, the Psychiatrist functions independently and works directly with the BHS Program Director and Client Services Supervisor.

This is a contracted position (16-30 hours per week) for a board-certified child psychiatrist, specializing in child & adolescent psychiatry.

The position will be responsible for receiving referrals for evaluation from therapists.

The psychiatrist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric disorders, provide follow-up, psychosocial education, and support to clients and their families, review case histories, and maintain clinical materials in accordance with Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH) requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Conduct psychiatric evaluations (psychosocial history, psychiatric symptoms, medical history, medication history, diagnosis) to assess and create a plan to treat a wide range of difficulties presented by children and adolescents.

Conduct patient appointments for established clients on a regular basis.

Foster therapeutic connections with your clients as well as communicate and build relationships with their caregivers.

Provide medication management, follow-up, and psychiatric education regarding medication and possible side effects.

Work closely as part of the treatment team with the therapist, case manager, and others, both inside and outside of the agency, including families and collaterals.

Complete and submit clinical documentation within a 24-hour time frame utilizing the agency’s electronic health record system (Exym).

Demonstrate medical/clinical leadership skills, a complete working knowledge of psychopharmacology, and experience in mental health service delivery to a broad-based individual and multi-cultural, diverse, patient population.

Provide coverage for absent psychiatrists.

Job Purpose

This position will provide support in accounting and financial reporting activities (including monthly/quarterly/annual financial SOX audits) of AHM Auto Business Segment, especially in the areas of SAB-104 revenue recognition cut-off procedures, royalty transactions, GALC (Global Assembly Line Control) reconciliations over HDMA factories, GSI reporting, support of incentive accrual reviews, and overall coordination of accounting processes, flows, and reporting requirements related to AHM GM BEV3.0 Collaboration (mainly in the areas of purchase, wholesale and retail accounting).

Key Accountabilities
  • Complete workpapers (including account reconciliations and account analysis) and prepare journal entries for AHM & selected schedules/deliverables for HM financial reporting, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Provide review support to the Assistant Manager over various areas, including but not limited to incentive accruals (which entail a large volume of deliverables to various stakeholders, incl. Finance Management and HM)
  • Support SOX compliance and audit activities for the Product (Auto) Segment, including GALC reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with Business/Operations (including ISD) in understanding current business states, market conditions in order to assess accounting implications. In addition, evaluate/modify current reporting processes for accuracy and efficiency opportunities

The Import Operations Customer Service Representative is a global operations support role responsible for managing both ocean and air import activities within the freight forwarding industry. Working closely with the Import Supervisor, this position provides day-to-day operational support for Navia’s client base. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing International Air and Sea shipments via Cargowise, including opening files, issuing documents, forwarding customs documentation, tracking and tracing, notations, and billing.
  • Ensure documentation (Pre-Alert,PL,CI,A/N,etc) is accurately processed and released to carrier, broker, governmental agencies (FDA, USDA, DOT, etc.), agents, and customers in a timely manner.
  • Destination delivery management from the release of goods at the terminal/CFS to the client’s door.
  • Participating in required cross-training and backup coverage support necessary to maintain excellent customer service and continuity during peak volume periods.
  • Follows key account SOPs and procedures as directed by sales and key account management.
  • Any other duties as directed by management.
  • Hourly role, eligible for overtime as required.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of working knowledge of international transportation and logistics (ocean/air/drayage/LTL).
  • Basic proficiency in supply chain concepts and processes (i.e., incoterms, international supply chain, and/or procurement).
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve independently.
  • Customer Service Oriented Mindset
