Plant Manager | Polymer Extrusion Facility
We are seeking a technically savvy Plant Manager to lead our polymer extrusion operations. If you’re the kind of leader who knows that a plant runs on both high-performance machinery and high-performing people, we want to talk to you.
As the Plant Manager, you won't just be overseeing a floor; you’ll be the architect of our production efficiency, the guardian of our safety culture, and the driver of continuous improvement.
The Role: What You’ll Do
- Drive Production Excellence: Manage the daily operations of multiple extrusion lines to meet (and exceed) production targets while maintaining strict quality standards.
- Optimize Technical Processes: Oversee material blending, die setups, and cooling parameters. You should be comfortable "talking shop" regarding polymer rheology and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Lead & Mentor: Foster a culture of accountability and professional growth across production supervisors, maintenance tech, and operators.
- Budget & P&L Ownership: Manage the plant’s bottom line, including labor costs, raw material waste (scrap reduction), and CAPEX projects.
- Safety First: Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA standards and internal safety protocols. No product is worth a person’s well-being.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to reduce downtime and optimize changeover speeds.
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience: 7+ years in a manufacturing leadership role, specifically within polymer extrusion (profile, sheet, film, or tubing).
- Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of single/twin-screw extruders, downstream equipment, and resin behavior (PE, PP, PVC, etc.).
- Problem-Solving Skills: You don't just see a bottleneck; you find the root cause and fix it permanently.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Plastics) or a related technical field is preferred.
- Communication: The ability to explain complex technical issues to stakeholders and motivate a diverse workforce on the floor.

Route Sales Representatives are critical to our success at FritoLay! Our Route Sales Representatives are responsible for delivering, selling, and merchandising FritoLay's complete line of products including Lay's, Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, Fritos, and many more to local stores including gas stations, dollar stores, and large grocery stores. As a Route Sales Representative, you drive a FritoLay truck to different stores, work independently to unload orders, merchandise product, and partner with store managers to increase sales, order, and maintain records throughout the day.

Job Description:
Progress Mfg, Inc. is seeking a part-time QC inspector to perform repetitive inspection following standardized methods and procedures. Visually inspects or checks parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments or against fixed samples. Checks dimensions and finishes against blueprint or work order specifications.
Key Measures:
- Sampling and inspecting finished goods or raw material.
- Internal auditing: Daily Production walkthroughs and inspections.
- CP/CPK Study
- Attend weekly IP meeting, monthly department and company meeting.
- Recognition other employees by submitting iPoints.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pulling random samples for raw materials/finished goods inspection.
- Conducting inspection of raw materials/finished goods products to ensure parts are in compliance with quality standards.
- Visual inspection
- Geometric/dimensional inspection
- Functional inspection
- Reporting non-conformities and results in database.
- Conducting capability study.
- Destroy scrapped parts.
Job Qualifications:
Education: High School with some college education; Associates degree preferred but not required.
Experience: At least six months of QC experience preferred.
Skills:
- Must be able to read measurement from a caliper, and have the ability to learn how to use other measuring devices.
- Must have good mechanical skills.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Must have good math skills and be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and convert fractions.
- Must have good computer skills: Excel / Word / Access / Outlook.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to negotiate and cope with stressful situations.
