Job Description
Role:: GPS production support specialist/ Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1)-W2 only
Hybrid role, 2-3 days a week onsite in Hartford CT
Position Description:
Assist with oversight of production support for the GPS application built on Salesforce (including Agentforce AI agents).
Deliver stable operations, rapid incident response, clear communication, and continuous improvement, collaborating effectively across an onshore/offshore support model.
Maintain high availability and reliability of production systems.
Rapidly triage, prioritize, and resolve incidents and requests.
Ensure crisp, concise communication with business and IT stakeholders.
Drive proactive monitoring, root cause analysis (RCA), and prevention.
L1/L2/L3 triage and resolution for incidents, service requests, and minor enhancements.
On-call coverage aligned to business hours and after-hours (24x7 for P1 incidents).
Proactive monitoring, alert response, log analysis, and performance tuning.
Root cause analysis (RCA), corrective/preventive actions.
Support for change deployment via approved release management processes (e.g., CI/CD using AutoRABIT/GitHub/ANT).
Build, maintain, and optimize Agentforce AI agents and related automations.
Clear, consistent status updates; escalation handling; executive summaries for major incidents.
Playbooks/runbooks, architecture/solution notes, RCA reports, and knowledge base articles.
Work seamlessly with onshore product owners and offshore teams for follow-the-sun coverage.
Required Skills:
Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1)
Agentforce Specialist Certification
3+ years' experience Salesforce CRM configuration and customization
Apex (classes, triggers), SOQL
Visualforce, Workflows & Approvals
Lightning (LWC) – 1+ years hands-on
Dashboards/Reports
Custom Objects, Validation Rules, Formulas
Email Templates, Package Installations, AppExchange solutions
Apex Data Loader
Security model (Roles, Profiles, Permission Sets)
3+ years experience Programming and working with:
APEX, Core Java, JavaScript
Dev tools: IDE, Apex Data Loader, ANT
AutoRABIT – preferred but strong CI/CD equivalents acceptable
Demonstrated experience building Agentforce AI agents (design, orchestration, guardrails, performance)
Agile (preferred SAFe exposure)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Proven onshore/offshore delivery model experience
