Design Implementation Manager - FIFA World Cup 26™
Job Description
Role Summary:
On Location has been appointed as the Official Hospitality Provider of the FIFA World Cup 26™! As a QC/QA Venue Branding Specialist, you will be embedded at your assigned FIFA World Cup 26™ stadium and serve as the on-site guardian of all hospitality-related branding, signage and design execution, ensuring that all brand and implementation rules are followed. You will ensure brand consistency as well as design adherence and design quality across all in-stadium hospitality projects, including but not limited to graphics, furniture layouts, custom build installation, florals and finishes. You will develop & implement quality protocols, conduct quality checks on creative assets, collaborate with the design team and vendors to resolve issues and maintain brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation company(s) responsible for the graphic and furniture installation and removal in and around assigned lounges and suites, temporary structures and other designated spaces at assigned venue site.
- Perform detailed quality checks on visual assets, including checking for brand consistency, accurate typography, proper color usage, and layout precision across all platforms.
- Ensure the final product meets the required specifications and is applied with high attention to detail and quality.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area and ensure all tools and equipment are used safely.
- Manage and work within the project’s allotted budget and time schedule.
- Ensure all branding within the stadium complies with sponsorship rights, FIFA regulations, and On Location contractual obligations.
- Maintain thorough documentation of branding approvals, issue logs, and corrective actions.
- Track venue-specific branding performance and provide post-event reporting.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Partner closely with the Venue Manager, FIFA Venue Team, Creative/Branding leads, and production vendors.
- Communicate clearly and proactively on QC/QA findings to ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional teams by providing venue-specific insights on branding logistics and quality control.
Experience/Qualifications Needed:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Stadium event production & installation experience, preferably in both a hands-on and managerial / oversight capacity
- Facility with and knowledge of installation methodologies and best practices
- Facility with and knowledge of design software and resulting specification files
- Ability to disseminate design vision and uphold brand requirements in collaboration with vendors and brand managers
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
- The ability to remain in a standing position for extended periods, except where sitting is permitted by law or reasonable accommodation is required.
- The ability to walk long distances and navigate complex stadium environments
- Conversational English as a minimum
- Legally able to work with no assistance in sponsorship in venue location.
- Ability to pass Accreditation process.
*This role will be paid as a weekly rate, based on 40 hours per week.
