The Assistant General Manager of Sales (AGM Sales) is responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations and sales performance for an assigned group of retail stores. Job Responsibilities:

• Manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate sales floor coverage and operational efficiency
• Oversee visual merchandising standards, working closely with the Visual Coordinator and Corporate Visual Team to maintain brand consistency
• Coordinate floor moves and product placement in collaboration with Corporate Visual, AGM of Operations, and local teams
• Act as Manager on Duty, performing opening and closing responsibilities for the entire retail location
• Gain full proficiency in operational systems, including POS, StoreForce, ADP, Aptos, and PowerDMS
• Provide sales leadership and coaching, ensuring staff are motivated and meeting sales goals
• Support the AGM of Operations by assisting with stock management, facilities coordination, and inventory control as needed
• Ensure customer service excellence, addressing escalated customer concerns and implementing best practices for the team
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention strategies
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Retail, Merchandising, or a related field is preferred
• 3+ years of experience in a multi-unit, high-volume retail environment (travel retail experience is a plus)
• 1+ years of experience in a management or leadership role
• Proven ability to drive sales performance and lead a results-oriented team
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and retail software systems
• TAM Card (Alcohol Beverage Awareness Certification) may be required, depending on location
• Additional security clearance may be required, based on location requirements

This busy hospital facility operates 5 anesthesia rooms and utilizes iPro for electronic charting. The facility maintains a staffing model where medical directors supervise CRNAs at a 2:1 ratio while also performing independent cases. Clinicians receive a $250 weekly car rental or mileage stipend and a $110 daily lodging stipend.

The Kankakee area features several museums including a railroad museum and county museum, along with outdoor recreational opportunities at a nearby state park offering scenic wilderness paths. Visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, and skiing trails, as well as dining, golf courses, and canoe trips. The region also provides entertainment options such as stock car racing and adventure parks within a few miles of the main area.

The clinician will provide anesthesia services for general and orthopedic procedures during 8 to 10-hour day shifts. Regular hours are required with no in-house, weeknight, or weekend call obligations. The estimated privileging timeframe is 60 days with overtime not expected.

What You'll Do :

• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring safety, service, and efficiency while maintaining compliance with audits, policies, and all regulations.

• Own accountability to meet or exceed performance targets by reviewing financial reports and executing merchandise and inventory plans. Analyze trends, control costs, reduce waste, and manage cash procedures to ensure profitability.

• Monitor trends and proactively collaborate with peers to develop action plans that drive optimal results.

• Ensure store-wide safety, service, and operational excellence by executing policies, driving compliance, managing safety programs, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

• Champion company initiatives, communicate the why behind changes, and ensure successful implementation and long-term adoption of programs and processes.

• Create an inclusive, collaborative team culture focused on achievement, motivation and customer service.

• Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team through coaching, performance management, and ongoing feedback. Support leadership development and drive a culture of excellence through formal talent management processes , training and onboarding.

• Maintain proper coverage in a 24/7 environment through s trategic scheduling and resource allocation .

• Ensure a seamless and satisfying shopping experience by actively responding to customer feedback, resolving issues, and creating plans to exceed expectations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Flexible availability to work various shifts , including weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs

• Proven leadership experience in fast-paced retail, food service , or fuel environments

• Proven ability to coach, develop , and inspire career growth in individuals

• Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently

• Skilled in problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making
