WHAT YOU WILL DO:
ยท Installation and removal: Install and remove submersible and vertical turbine pumps; understand system configuration, assembly sequence, and key features of the pump system. Utilize heavy equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic tools.
ยท Pump tests: Conduct pump and well performance tests requiring monitoring and evaluation of well discharge metering. Collect and document detailed performance data in handwritten or digital spreadsheets.
ยท Troubleshooting issues: Troubleshoot basic pump performance issues. Includes understanding pump mechanics, assembly/disassembly of components, electrical controls including use of a multimeter verify electrical supply power. Evaluate and determine next steps for repair or replacement and communicate with supervisor.
