Job Summary:
The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the Director of Sleep Services or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and out of center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist is able to perform the duties defined for a sleep technologist and is able to provide oversight of other sleep center staff. The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist is credentialed in sleep technology.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Sleep Study Procedures Follow procedural protocols [such as Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT), Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT), parasomnia studies, PAP and oxygen titration, etc.] to ensure collection of appropriate data. Perform appropriate physiological calibrations to ensure proper signals and make required adjustments. Follow lights out procedures to establish and document baseline values (such as body position, oxyhemoglobin saturation, respiratory and heart rates, etc.). Perform data acquisition while monitoring study-tracing quality to ensure signals are artifact-free. Identify, correct and document artifact. Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results. Implement appropriate interventions (including actions necessary for patient safety and therapeutic intervention such as positive airway pressure, oxygen administration, etc.). Follow lights on procedures to verify integrity of collected data and complete the data collection process (e.g. repeat the physiological and instrument calibrations and instruct the patient on completing questionnaires, checking for completeness, etc.). Score sleep/wake stages by applying professionally accepted guidelines. Score clinical events (such as respiratory events, cardiac events, limb movements, arousals, etc.) utilizing AASM standards. Generate accurate reports by tabulating sleep/wake and clinical event data. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide age specific care in the treatment, assessment, and education of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to perform portable monitoring equipment preparation and data download. Perform patient education and instruction appropriate for out of center sleep testing. Demonstrate adherence to cleaning and disinfection procedures for portable monitoring devices. Demonstrate adherence to AASM scoring parameters for OCST; identify artifact, inadequate signals and study failures and generate an accurate report. Sleep Study Preparation and Set-up Collect, analyze and integrate patient information in order to identify and meet the patient-specific needs (physical/mental limitations, current emotional/physiological status regarding the testing procedure, pertinent medical/social history). Determine final testing parameters/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols. Review the patients history and verify the medical order. Follow sleep center protocols related to the sleep study. When patient arrives, verify identification, collect documents and obtain consent for the study. Explain the procedure and orient the patient for either in center or out of center sleep testing. Select appropriate equipment and calibrate for testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustments, if necessary. Apply electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards. Perform routine positive airway pressure (PAP) interface fitting and desentization. Service Management and Professional Issues Comply with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and standards regarding safety and infection control issues. Perform routine equipment care and maintenance and inventory evaluation. Maintain current CPR or BLS certification. Maintain certification in sleep technology. Acquire 10 Continuing Education Units (CEU) to maintain credential. Demonstrate computer skills appropriate for the position. Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills. General Description
The Aviation Department which operates the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and the North Perry Airport is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Risk Manager for the Risk Management section within the Administration Division. The Risk Manager will serve as the cornerstone of BCAD's risk management program, ensuring the airport is protected from liability by evaluating risk exposures, reviewing and negotiating complex contracts, and establishing and enforcing insurance requirements and renewals for all vendors and third parties. It provides critical oversight of procurement activities, analyzes bid documents, and safeguards compliance through the monitoring of Certificates of Insurance. The role also represents the airport's risk management interests in high-stakes meetings with airlines and key vendors, supports County departments with insurance guidance and trains staff across multiple divisions. With its blend of technical insurance expertise, legal interpretation, contact analysis, and staff leadership, this position is integral to minimizing financial exposure and maintaining continuity in BCAD operations. The employee will function as the Safety Management System Coordinator for Landside Operations in conjunction with the Operations Division. This position will supervise a loss and safety team on our construction sites and will ensure Occupational safety and health training and education program tracking.
Plans, develops, implements and maintenance of an airport Safety Management System (SMS), which includes - SMS anonymous reporting, tracking, investigation, and audits; facilitation of the safety risk management (SRM) process; conducting safety assurance meetings and inspections; and providing safety promotion initiatives and incentives; as well as Gap Analysis, Data Collection Review and Synthesis, Updates, Committee Meetings, Safety Assurance Evaluations, and SMS manual and related policies and procedures updates.

Understands, implements, maintains and assists the processing of millions of gallons of wastewater entering the plant and following various biological, mechanical and chemical processes to return treated waters meeting state and federal safety standards back into the environment.
Performs routine to complex maintenance and repair duties of water equipment and facilities; collects water samples for testing; performs and records chemical adjustments and laboratory sampling and testing; ascertains treatment performance and quality; monitors and sets chlorine machinery to obtain proper chemical usage readings; operates and maintains pump stations; records daily pump readings, records flows, time of flows, pressures, and chemical usage.
Performs clerical duties, data entry, process control, calculations and runs quantitative and qualitative analysis and interprets data for performance evaluation.
Runs vacuum building system; collects samples from off sight station; receives chemical deliveries on and off sight; maintains and monitors backwash filter.
Checks plant equipment and troubleshoots plant problems; diagnoses, troubleshoots and writes work orders when a malfunction has been discovered; performs frequent rounds checking the status of water and wastewater treatment units, tanks and machines; performs a variety of routine cleaning activities in order to ensure the safety and cleanliness of facility/treatment plant; proper start up and shut down of different tanks and pumps according to conditions and supervisor directives; resets plant to proper operating conditions caused by storms and power outages.
Computes a variety of work orders to document treatment plant activity, request maintenance, repairs, and compile statistics for periodic reports.

General Duties:
- Research Design & Analysis (20%): Assist in designing and interpreting analyses using advanced econometric methods, including reduced form approaches (difference-in-differences, regression discontinuity, instrumental variables) and structural econometrics (method of moments, maximum likelihood, dynamic programming), with a focus on causal inference.

Position description
The University of California, Berkeley, is seeking a Project Processing Archivist for a two-year project, with the possibility of renewal for a third year based on performance and availability of funding, to support the processing of literary collections. Among the collections to be processed are those from a Mellon Foundation-funded project to process and promote archival collections relating to women and poetry at The Bancroft Library. These include the papers of poets Mary Fabili, Aya Tarlow, and Red Jordan Arobateau as well as the records of presses and literary magazines, such as Poetry Flash and the City Lights Books records. The project archivist will also process the analog and born-digital papers of author Amy Tan. The successful candidate employs archival standards, tools, and best practices to provide access to collections containing materials in a range of formats, including audiovisual and digital. The successful candidate also applies effective project management strategies and communicates clearly with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities
The Project Processing Archivist will work under the direction of the Head of Archival Processing and in consultation with other technical services staff, curators, public services staff and, potentially, donors and researchers. Duties will include processing approximately 450 linear feet of literary archival collections and related born-digital materials. The Project Processing Archivist will also participate in outreach activities relating to the project as well as regular departmental activities. Responsibilities include:
- Archival processing of analog, born-digital, and hybrid archival collections
- Applying tools used in the special collections and archival communities (e.g., ArchivesSpace, OCLC, Alma, TreeSize, and ePADD)
- Contributing to project management, which might include helping to manage project documentation, supporting meetings, and contributing to problem-solving and analysis.
- Overseeing the work of student library employees as needed

What You Will Do:
Our Pratt & Whitney Middletown, CT facility has several exciting opportunities for a Production Machinist available on 3rd shift.
3rd shift hours are Monday through Friday from approximately 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
In this role, you will setup and operate one machine tool or process equipment type and operate more than one unrelated machine tool or process equipment types within an assigned area to produce precision turbine engine parts. You will perform work where methods, procedures and processes are well developed and the required tooling, gaging and fixturing are provided.
Under the direction of leader/supervisor, work from verbal and written instructions, operation sheets, drawings and other pertinent information. Following established methods and procedures, use manual or numerically controlled machine tools such as milling, boring, grinding, turning, broaching and shaping machines to achieve the required dimensional specifications. Recognize indications of dull or damaged cutting tools and replace as needed.
Perform bench, assembly and surface finishing operations such as deburring, blending, trimming and fitting, using a variety of hand and power tools. Use a variety of media, dry or liquid, to perform cleaning or part preparation and finishing operations. What You Will Do:
- Follow specific directions of Leader/Supervisor to carry out repair and restoration projects for engine parts.
- Layout work requirements and obtain needed equipment to perform routine repair and alteration operations.

What You Will Do:
Our Pratt & Whitney Middletown, CT facility has several exciting opportunities for a Production Machinist available on 1st shift.
1st shift hours are Monday through Friday from approximately 6:30 am to 3:30 pm.
In this role, you will setup and operate one machine tool or process equipment type and operate more than one unrelated machine tool or process equipment types within an assigned area to produce precision turbine engine parts. You will perform work where methods, procedures and processes are well developed and the required tooling, gaging and fixturing are provided.
Under the direction of leader/supervisor, work from verbal and written instructions, operation sheets, drawings and other pertinent information. Following established methods and procedures, use manual or numerically controlled machine tools such as milling, boring, grinding, turning, broaching and shaping machines to achieve the required dimensional specifications. Recognize indications of dull or damaged cutting tools and replace as needed.
Perform bench, assembly and surface finishing operations such as deburring, blending, trimming and fitting, using a variety of hand and power tools. Follow prescribed methods and procedures to perform drilling, riveting and bonding operations to assemble various details in producing a finished part. Operate part-marking equipment.
Use a variety of media, dry or liquid, to perform cleaning or part preparation and finishing operations. Operate tumbling, grit blast, shot peen, buffing and polishing equipment, wash machines and dip tanks for part surface conditioning. Apply masking as required. Perform applications of anti-gall and polymite coatings utilizing dry bake ovens to cure.
Utilize a variety of fixed or variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and part features. Operate OpCert and other computerβbased systems to retrieve and store information and records.
Perform routine servicing throughout assigned area following specified procedures and written instructions, such as operatorsβ checklist, for upkeep and to assure equipment operates properly.

What You Will Do:
- Perform repetitive tasks related to preventative maintenance, supply and servicing of facilities, machinery and equipment.
- Assist trade groups as required.

This position is for 2nd shift. Hours are Monday - Friday 3:12pm - 11:59pm.
What You Will Do:
Under direction of leader/supervisor, follow assembly drawings and/or specifications and computer information systems to prepare parts and build subassemblies, modules and accessories for new gas turbine engines where tooling and process methods are established. Perform similar duties assisting with engine test operations and performing component and accessory tests as assigned.
Use overhaul and repair procedures and specifications to perform the mechanical work to overhaul engines, modules and related components.
Obtain parts, check details for conformance to assembly requirements and fit and measure components to assure overall dimensions are within limits specified.
Use mechanicβs hand tools, holding fixtures, and specialized assembly equipment to build engine sections and perform installation of details and maintain equipment and tooling for assigned areas.
Provide related support for test operations and assist with testing under direct supervision and specific test schedules.
Perform similar duties to assist with co-producer, customer support or other similar programs, retrofit projects and to accommodate new engine programs and assist with changes in specifications.
Qualifications You Must Have:
