Melga Law is a boutique U.S. business immigration firm representing entrepreneurs, investors, artists, athletes, and professionals building their careers and companies in the United States. Our cases are strategy-driven and document-intensive, requiring precision, strong organizational skills, and comfort with technology. This is not an entry-level position, and it is not a senior or supervisory role. We are seeking a professional with 1–4 years of hands-on U.S. immigration law experience who is comfortable supporting attorneys within a structured, process-driven environment. This is a part-time or full-time, in-person role in our Coral Gables office. Remote work is not available. Applicants must reside within commuting distance. Immediate availability is required.
What You’ll Do
• Prepare and assemble USCIS and DOS petitions (E-2, O-1, P, EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, PERM, family-based cases)
• Draft immigration forms and structured client communications
• Organize exhibits and maintain digital case files with precision
• Communicate professionally with clients in English and Spanish
• Track deadlines and manage multiple active cases
• Follow detailed internal processes and attorney instructions carefully
Required Qualifications (Please Apply Only If You Meet These)
• 1–4 years of hands-on experience preparing U.S. immigration filings
• Experience working in a U.S.-based immigration law firm
• Advanced proficiency with Mac environment, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat (including PDF assembly), cloud-based systems (e.g., Dropbox)
• Experience with immigration case management platforms (e.g., Docketwise)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured instructions precisely
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Must live within commuting distance of Coral Gables, FL
